There is talk that the Government will force reform on the English FA which obviously amounts to third party interference and England could be kicked out of the World Cup.
When England held the World Cup it was known as el robo del siglo [the robbery of the century] with accusations of England and Germany collaborating to get the South Americans knocked out, with English and German officials involved in controversial games with South Americans getting on the wrong end of bad decisions, England switching a semi-final at the last minute to make Portugal travel and then the Ghost goal in the final.
England were allegedly found out giving delegates wives expensive handbags when trying to be the host nation once again, they ended up hardly getting a vote.

It's nationalism, which in itself is neither on the left or right of the spectrum. Trampie's general politics may be left of centre but hatred of everything English is not due to left wing leanings. Plaid were historically more right wing but these days market themselves as progressive left, they've always continued to be nationalists. |  | | |

No hatred of everything English from me, I like Frank Lampard, Cherie Lunghi and Yorkshire pudding, but I will call a spade a spade, England should be hosting a World Cup for a second time [after Russia and Australia in my book] but due to their behaviour they seem to be friendless in World football, as regards Plaid being nationalists [I'm nothing to do with them by the way, I'm just a voter with an opinion] Plaid are criticised by some people both online and by people I know as being prepared to let everybody in here, everybody, English, Somali, Poles, Muslims, Jews, refugees, blah blah blah, everybody and in sizable numbers, doesn't seem nationalist to me compared to the way Brit Nat parties act and they have never been on the right, in the middle yes, but not on the right, currently they have the most left wing leader of any major party in Britain.
