As another overseas viewer, the streams are generally pretty good. I'm not convinced about 15 seconds cut sways to see a manager prowling the tech area while the game continues in the background. Saying that, there is much more to watching live. The wider picture so you can see what players are doing off the ball, the elation when we score, the camaraderie among the fans. The banter with opposition. I've managed 1/2 games per season in the flesh and I'd rather do that. But even travelling from France it would be a costly exercise. |

Cheesy. |

You can see the developing, in both senses, philosophy. Edwards 21 Yang 18 Esquerdinha 18 Alex O'Brien 177 Vale 21 OK 2 are loans and not all will work out. However there is far more upside than down, given the ages. Of course, we need to sprinkle some experience among the youngsters. Field, Chair and JCS have all extended deals. Now we need Dunne to sign a new deal. Then it would appear to be a superb set of transfer dealings. Having been let down so many times before, I'm feeling really optimistic. |

Agreed. Now its vital we get a deal that he can sign. If it includes exit clauses, so what. |
| Forum Reply | Dunne off? at 16:46 3 Feb 2025
That sounds plausible. Would it be so bad to offer a 4 year deal to a 27yo? Whose availability is around 90%. That doesn't rule out a sale during the contract. But, the lure of potential PL football would also be attractive to the player. Not for £400k, though. |

If there are any options, they'll be on the club's side, not the players. IMO, Cook should get a 1 year deal but let Colback go. |

IF Jimmy is not prepared to sign a new contract AND there is a substantial agreeable offer on the table, then we have to accept. We're not likely to get relegated and we're not likely to finish top 6, so use the money to find a replacement that is likely to be younger and cheaper. That is how Brentford, Bournemouth, Palace managed to become sustainable, albeit unthreatening, PL clubs. |

I didn't think he was bad. Alfie has to be a lot stronger/smarter. Defenders are not going to get put of his way ( see Cook's blocking off Cooper, as per Sinton comment), so you're nit going to get FLs for running into them. Ref is not going to give what he doesn't see, I.e. the whack in the face. It was feisty without stepping over the line. |

Have we won a defensive header yet? This is showing why we still need Jimmy Dunne. |

The only reason why we might accept a £2m bid for Dunne is because he will be OOC in the Summer. Kilman went from Wolves to West Ham for £40m. Are we in danger of underselling?] |

Clearly? Who's watched Orient this season, apart from EFL highlights. |

They signed the lad from Ipswich. Clark? |

It would be good to see some of those getting loans in L1/L2. National League loans are no use to us for players like Talla. |

As long, rambling stories go that was a masterpiece. It should be required reading for the SoS for Transport and the CEOs of all the train companies responsible for putting on such a broken service. Good luck with getting the refunds/compensation. |
