Crawley look two divisions above on this evidence. |

There aren’t many occasions when we’ve done that on TV. Derby away in 2009 was good, clearly there’s away at Man Utd in the 90’s. Which others? |

How good is the NRL this season? Munster may have just cost Melbourne this game with a moment of madness… |

Always used to be told that Southgate was the furthest out station fully underground. Is that true (still)? [Post edited 24 Oct 2023 13:36]

Given the rude health that some teams have come out of League One in - Sunderland, Ipswich are recent examples - and the general refreshing nature that relegation CAN have on SOME clubs, i.e., Notts County last couple of years. Is relegation the worst outcome in the big picture? |

We're a bit late to the party when it comes to buying up land in West London. Values have gone through the roof over the last 20 years and we've had options for good sites before and ballsed it up. The problem with QPR is and has been that commercially we're never in the right place at the right time - and no it's not just bad lack its incompetence and has been for 2-3 decades. IF the owners are serious about moving, then IMO the only viable sites will be in the Outer London Boroughs of Hillingdon, Hounslow, Harrow, Ealing or Brent. Now you can take the view that we're a club from the Bush and W12 is our home and yes thats true and I get that. An awful lot of QPR fans live in Outer west London though - if there was a site near pubs, the Underground/Overground with the space to create a proper solution for the longevity of QPR then is that a bad thing? I'm not suggesting Milton Keynes, or an out of town retail park in Slough... just that a pragmatic solution could be to move the club west a few miles. [Post edited 11 Aug 2023 11:50]

Not seen it mentioned but for a less famous / high profile derby than the one in Spain that weekend there is Rennes v Nantes in the Derby Breton. The games in Rennes but you can fly to Nantes from Gatwick or Stansted and it’s an hour to Rennes on the train. Could stay in either, both great. |

Spain has some great city break games that weekend. Obviously Seville for Real Betis v Valencia. You've also got Girona v Real Madrid that weekend - Girona is a great little city in Catalunya, interesting place, cheap and easy to fly there from the UK. Real Sociedad v Bilbao is the highlight that weekend though in San Sebastian and at the newly rebuilt Anoeta - its just less easy to get to. You can fly to Biarritz in France and get the train/bus over the border to San Sebastian, takes about an hour. Bilbao / Bilbao Airport is a similar commute the other way. Worth mentioning that Portman Road is a beautiful football stadium. When its full and Town are doing well they'll take some stopping. |

He seems a smart lad. He's from Greenwich and is a star in south London, just finding his form. I'd stay if I was him! |

Couldn't agree more. As an exiled fan in the Midlands I value Clive's reports and previews immensely. They keep my love and connection with QPR going. [Post edited 10 May 2023 13:00]

Absurd race for the conference title and promotion to league 2 this season. Both Wrexham and Notts County are going to break the records but one will have to contend with the playoffs! Notts are on 97 points with 5 games left and look unlikely to win the league. |
