Never seen that before, though have heard of it mainly for Osgood. Crap football but more enjoyment somehow (and thats without any nostalgia attatched from me). Bremner, God rest his soul, was a little "annoyance" on the pitch, wasn't he? |

Disappointing, but not much we could've done. Dibling showcases our path to the first team is open from an early age. This will give us more intakes and positives than the negatives exhibited in this case - Man City are simply top of the food chain. |

Phil Boyer being the First-Div-i-sion’s top scorer.
I don’t see bournemouth as a rivalry, but there’s certainly something above the norm there. Many of the younger generation will continue to parrot the older generation in their “liking” of bournemouth, but I don’t believe it to be genuine.
They are annoying, local, and we have played them a lot in the last few years in tension-filled situations (2018 relegation fight game at st marys, 2020 relegation of bournemouth and 2023 when we lost on the way down). Similar to our games against Palace between 2018-22 as a game you can look forward to. But that’s my opinion. |

We can still stay up. Just need to get to Moyes before West Ham inevitably do.
Also get a f*ckin striker. How many seasons of needing a 20 million pound striker (one that’s actually worth the money not Crap Paul).
I was listening to Shane Long’s interview with Ben Foster and they discussed this. They both were sick of clubs signing young strikers just to sell on for profit, neglecting an experienced signing. In their eyes, a team like Prem West Brom needed a big experienced striker and that would be the difference. Sounds familiar.
Instead we sign the newly dubbed ‘English Sekou Mara’ up front in Archer. [Post edited 22 Sep 10:09]

Good decisions IMO. Happy to see C. Taylor in the team, THB coming in. Lallana deserves a chance. Only doubt would be Archer for me, but there’s not much of an option up front.
I don’t know why you’d be annoyed at Diaz being dropped, he’s shocking. |

Inevitably we’ll have no presence upfront. Cornet looks good 1v1 but has no cross on him - though that makes no difference with no one to hit.

What is with the flags before kick off? I’m all for fan-made banners like Liverpool - through the years I can think of ‘skate busters’, ‘Channon is bionic’, ‘Super Saints’ etc
But the Northam wall version is way too manufactured. We need less club control in fan culture. Allow banners, but ones home made by our own fans which they can bring with them. Not the generic 2 designs held by everyone and bought on the cheap. |
