Does anyone in the club have the slightest idea of what they’re doing? Now Archer has interest because we haven’t played him but have played 2 inferior forwards to him in Armstrong and Onuachu.. Archer is the only one with a finish aside from Dibling..
Why don’t we sell Archer, Onuachu and Archer and go into the rest of the season with no forwards apart from Armstrong? With Dibling off too, if you want to believe all these story’s, we will end up with the same 6 points we had ages ago and be the worst ever side in the Prem.
Well done SR, you’ve managed to cause chaos and abject failure with a total loss of direction and now disconnect with the fans.

As for memories, the Branfoot 2-1 with the magic le god brace the 2 x 4-0 in consecutive seasons with Koeman? and the 3-3 last game of the season when Alan Blayney won save of the season under Sturrock, that was an awesome game. I remember a game at the Dell when they had too many fans so some had to go in the Saints section of the Archers with 2 lines of stewards between them but this didn’t stop them from trying T throw punches at us over the top of the stewards.. it was quite comedic. |

I think Juric needs a point at least, 6 losses out of 6 will be a bad look. The players need to fight more, show more desire and stop trotting round the park like it’s light training. The fact that we brought in Diaz and Cornet shows how completely incompetent our board and management are. If we’d have brought in one good player for each average 2 we might have had a chance of staying up and keeping Dibling. Instead we will lose our best players again and be back to square one.. I’m stunned that they have the balls to charge anything after how we’ve performed last year. The £1.50 is not a booking fee, it’s a sly way of charging more per ticket against the premier league rules. If it were a booking fee, it would not be £6 for buying 4 tickets in one transaction. It’s a disgracefully cheap form of theft. Jeez if they are that desperate, they can have it. I just wish they wouldn’t keep spending millions on dross because they have no football knowledge between them. Joke of a club now because of the clowns who make the decisions. I agree the fanzone is more of an irritation than a positive for me. Maybe because we’re losing every game. We should bring back Edozie, he’s better than anything else we’ve had on that side of the pitch. Loan out Sulemana and Smallbone too with Charles coming back to replace him. Aribo can at least be a squad player in the 8 or 10 position, he can’t play in the deeper midfield areas to save his life but he ghosts into the box and shows something in attack. Smallbone needs game time and he’s not hungry enough for this level. I still have no idea why we loaned out Charles and Edozie and replaced them with inferior players! Charlie Taylor or Manning should go as we now have Welington. You can understand Juric comments about us needing to cull.
In response to the article, I don’t believe there’s a fan out there who thought Ballard was going to somehow be the goal scoring solution, but I suppose it’s a story..
May as well sell Dibling now and get the most for him to help us prepare for next season in tier 2. |

Every time we play 5 at the back we get overrun in midfield and big Les had to do the job of 2 men in there. Result was therefore very predictable. We only have one decent finisher, Archer, not in starting line up, 2 players we’ve been trying to rid of for 2 years start. No creativity in midfield to feed our incompetent strikers selected.
We spent 45 million on Ramsdale and THB (who is worth 10) plus a load more on Downes yet set aside just 7 million for Diaz plus a Cornet loan expecting to tear up the Prem? As has been stated we didn’t bring in any potency up top aside from a young Archer, relying on a crocked Rod Stewart, another farcical purchase from the clowns who sit round the table.
Yesterday was an all time low thanks to SR and their ignorance. Their latest appointment just smacks of more cluelessness. Ankersen and Parsons have to go, they just don’t have the nous and haven’t replaced Wilcox. |

I don’t see the point in starting Armstrong again, at least Sulemana won a free kick on the edge of the box 5 mins after coming on which was more than Armstrong did the whole game. For me Archer is a better foil for tall Pall and at least we have a focal point to the attack with Paul, who just needs a goal. He’s also battled really well and got the crowd going in a season where we’ve been largely toothless up top. I would rather see a lightweight Sam Amo than Armstrong because he draws fouls. 1 set piece goal (finally) might be the difference between a point and none. I agree Les should start and Bree too, he’s a good footballer. Don’t fancy us winning with Aribo starting either, another who is an ok sub but doesn’t give enough so would rather see Lallana in the midfield.
We just need a win for spirits sake, forget the table! |

I’ll be amazed if we get more than 7 million for him. Firstly there was no queue of clubs in the summer coming in for him, which is why he ended up staying. Secondly any club will know he is out of contract in 5 months and haggle accordingly if not wait until summer. This leaves the teams who are desperate and prepared to jump in before summer. These are not the moves that KWP wants unless one of those clubs are big and there aren’t many big desperate teams out there. As such I expect him to stay. I agree with Nick though that we should cash in as much as possible if we can next month, 5 million would be useful. After picking up zero points from the last must win two games, it’s hard to see us overhauling 3 teams. Still, I hope we bring in a couple of good loan signings like Ferguson at Brighton if available and have a go at getting as many points as possible. |

Lansdown Saint took my line.. Can’t believe Juric is already making the same mistakes with personnel. Armstrong and Aribo are top quality Championship players but lack the tools to play in a Premier League season. Armstrong just doesn’t have an end product at this level and Aribo needs to be at his angriest and hungriest to be at the required level but most games looks like he’s been on McCarthy’s herb pipe before the game.. This is why I like Fernandes, he hasn’t been doing it the last few games as well as earlier in the season but he gives absolutely everything every minute.
Let’s face it, the Premier League is becoming a comedy show where referees are concerned. They are either completely corrupt without trying to hide it or they are the most incompetent bunch of clones out of the packet. It’s a total disgrace what’s happened this season with the amount of games we’ve been robbed in. It’s quicker to count the ones we weren’t. With him, Suga and Bree along with Manning, Taylor and Welington we have too many full backs particularly if we’re going to play wingbacks. Fraser should go out on loan to a Championship team and rumours suggest Diaz to Sheffield United looks possible so we do need more attackers if tall Paul is off too. Our attacking recruitment has been poor since SR took over, Archer aside. |

Who scored our last goal? Archer, a superb strike against Liverpool. He’s our best finisher and a grade above Armstrong who just has no end product and his movement is second to Archer as well. So another manager who doesn’t seem to know that in order to win, you need your most potent threats on the pitch. We still had all 3 centre backs on when we’re losing at home in a must not lose game.. Absolutely staggering. I thought Juric had been watching us and knew the players? Yes we were a lot better defensively but we can’t afford to carry passengers like Armstrong and Aribo, and I know the fans love him cos we have a couple of songs for him but he’s way off the pace and lacks aggression when he starts games. Another who fights for 10 minutes when he’s a sub coming on. We need to bring Shea Charles back, he’s a class above some of the others..
