Pompey Lose on 21:48 - Jan 28 with 904 views | dirk_doone | They went more than half a year without a home win before that. I remember a few years ago they published an all-time home win percentage table and Pompey were near the bottom of it, way below Saints and even below teams like Reading. Merson was on Sky SportsNews bigging up their home form before the game. The facts tell a different story. [Post edited 28 Jan 22:28]

Pompey Lose on 04:41 - Jan 29 with 743 views | BuenosSaint | Getting tight in the relegation battle there. Personally hope they go down as the risk of losing to them next year is too much to take. Our current team should beat them but after the squad decimation, who knows.

The 0-0 draw between Burnley and Leeds was even worse, and they're supposed to be 2 of the best teams in the Championship. There wasn't one shot on target from either team until the 89th minute. The standard is abysmal compared to the Premier League. [Post edited 29 Jan 10:35]

Pompey Lose on 10:53 - Jan 29 with 437 views | 1885_SFC | Their next two games are third-placed Burnley at home & then second-placed Sheff United away. The Pompey fellas that I've known for donkey's years echo us in the "Why are both our teams so sh1t?" stakes this season. It's even more frustrating that the two South Coast teams we're both sandwiched in between, Brighton and Bournemouth, are both having very good seasons - particularly Bournemouth. The only single, small, bright light on the horizon for Saints, amongst all the sh1t of this season, will be the two derby matches next season home & away - providing Pompey manage to avoid relegation of course. I can't understand how any self-respecting 'scummah' wouldn't be looking forward to that!

Yes and we have Southampton fans looking forward to playing in it next season! The reasons? No VAR and we will win more games. Well one is a definite, the other we will see.
| We thought that we had the answers,
It was the questions we had wrong. |

Spot on sledger. There’s nothing quite like south coast derby from a Saints perspective. Can’t wait. I’d back us to beat them twice as well as we should have decent championship squad.
