Jay Fulton 23:50 - Jan 15 with 1535 views | KeithHaynes | Ten years at the club this month. We still have him for another 18 months before his contract runs out. Seems the age of the testimonial is behind us. Memorable Fulton moments ?

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I would say that Fulton is a good squad player - someone who at this level should be on the bench with the experience to come on and make a contribution.
Jay Fulton on 14:22 - Jan 16 with 1066 views | ReslovenSwan1 | He represents the decline of this club. A slow flat footed clumsy player who replaced nimble club favourites like Allen Britton De Guzman. A poor man's Pratley who was much more effective and could score frequently. He fell over himself at Wembley on his big day and symbolised that dismal performance somehow getting himself sent off by accident. Under Martin he would have three CB and two DMF and still get ripped to shreds by quick countrer attacks. [Post edited 16 Jan 14:23]

Jay Fulton on 10:25 - Jan 18 with 493 views | Dr_Winston | Pleased to see a couple of people buck the trend. Fulton is, and always has been, a decent player for us. Nearly 300 games over ten years in the two highest divisions of English football are testament to that. His biggest problem is Matt Grimes. The two of them simply don't play well together, and whenever they do get paired up for some odd reason it's invariably always Fulton who gets the blame for the shitty display that almost inevitably follows despite Grimes being ostensibly the senior member of the partnership. Truth is they're both much of a muchness in terms of style. Neither of them a highlights reel player. If we ever lost Grimes long term I'd expect Fulton to be able to drop in and perform largely the same job. Grimes' ceiling is higher but his failure to hit it more than a handful of times a season puts them in the same bracket basically. [Post edited 18 Jan 10:46]

| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Testimonials do not belong in football. He has been extravagantly rewarded for 10 years and does not need charitable payments from ordinary citizens.

I agree with today’s salaries, especially Fulton’s. He is undeniably on 60k a month and has been for three years.

Jay Fulton on 18:05 - Jan 18 with 185 views | ReslovenSwan1 | Today there were plenty of opportunities to pick Cardiff pockets and with quick sharp inter passing play out of defence and launch attacks. Th first goal at Wembley is what Swansea are searching for. Soft touch football. The one where Swnsea cut through the centre and Michu's shot was saved and tucked in by Dyer. The Swansea way Williams talks about but clearly does not understand, It is not about stats it is about precision and touch. Ki to De Guzman to Hernandez to Michu to Dyer. It has to be played with speed and accuracy bang bang bang. Today Franco and Grimes were too slow and Cardiff got a foot in every tine. Grimes and Fulton are not fit for purpose for this style. Britton, De Guzman and Hernandez could do it Grimes and Fulton cannot. Laudrup would not have Fulton anywhere near his team. He would however trust Abdullai who has quick feet as a midfielder. Potter understood this and put Grimes at right back. Byers Fer and Celina had faster feet. Fulton could be the beefy Speed type of player behind the striker. No Swansea player can meet crosses. Eom put a few in the box to no one. I am no expert just my observations. [Post edited 18 Jan 18:07]
