Why would you assume that he was lying? There are two other possibilities.
(1) That there were 'monkey noises' coming from the stands but it's been impossible to find any evidence to prove that.
(2) That he thought he heard such noises but was mistaken.
Aren't you now trying to now write the history of this incident to show the 'victim' in the worst possible light?
I don't know what happened but I have no reason to think that Rudiger was deliberately making it up. | |
