Cheers for Washingtons substitution 22:47 - Mar 6 with 12484 viewsessextaxiboy

Fckin disgraceful IMO
The bloke is obviously not cutting it at this level probably
knows it and on top of that has no confidence but no one can critiscise him for effort and commitment .He isnt Bosingwa or Wright Phillips and didnt deserve to be treated like that .

Didn't hear any cheers when he was substituted but the guy is just not cutting it at this level.
It has not been easy for him, lack of confidence and being played out of position.

His strengths are his workrate and speed and his touch has improved a lot.

I dont see him being with us next season but I do feel our midfield three hold on to the ball
to long sometimes and to get the best out of CW speed they should release the ball earlier.

That being said he needs an awful lot of chances before he puts one away

"That being said he needs an awful lot of chances before he puts one away": You could say that about the whole team, apart from Smithies, whose finishing is deadly. Apparently.

If he was booed, that is appalling. He has his limitations but at least he tries.

If we fans are not supportive of our own players, we are helping the opposition. We should be intimidating the opposition's players, not our own.

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

For the short time he was on, Lynch appeared to cause Derby a few problems. I'd sooner him up that end of the pitch than the other end!

It's not the 1st time Olly has stuck Lynch up top. He reasonably good in the air as you'd expect, and must be a decent a finisher in training sessions. Gives us a another slightly unorthodox option I suppose.

Shades of Chris Sutton back in the day, equally effective as a striker or a centre back.

The grass is always greener.

I wonder why we don't try and retrain him as an out and out winger. He doesn't have that killer instinct on goal but he does have plenty of pace and the ability to put in a ball. I know we don't do wingers but if he specialised on the right or left it would take a lot of heat off him and he'd probably score more goals.

Never knowingly right.

Here we go........ anyone would would think our fanbase are clueless morons

Jeers for players is never right but let’s have it right, Conor Toshington has not been barracked and he wasn’t last night. He does however deserve criticism for his abject and anonymous performances and Ollie can be rightly questioned for continually selecting him.

Check out the Sky Sports report and the little pearler “However striker Washington was completely ineffective- and failed to put a challenge on Kasey Palmer for Derbys opener”
Also... “Eze on the other hand was lively”

I’ve said it before, the vast majority of QPR fans know their football and follow their club through thin and thinner. If there’s a few brick batts thrown at someone it’s generally deserved in my humble opinion

Turning to the bigger picture- 21 efforts on goal last night but only 4 on target. Please God let Gary the tache unearth a couple of strikers this season as if not we are in for yet another relegation battle next year. This season’s not yet out to bed but I’d say we’re edging towards safety

Roll on Saturday

He WAS awful and Eze should start on Saturday, but blaming him for the goal is ridiculous, their player waltzed through 2 midfielders and 3/4 of our defence, so to blame Washington is pushing it a bit!

Sad to hear. Especially so for a player who absolutely gives everything he can.

It's definitely time (long overdue) to pull him out of the firing line and give him a rest though. I'm all for backing players, but he's been poor for two years. Simply not enough composure. If Ollie starts Washington next week i'll be amazed. And it'll surely be a mistake.

Because he's just not very good and there is no place in our team for out and out wingers.

He is not an effective wide player, not a lone striker and now it looks like he's not much cop as a second or third striker.

How about sub or reserve?

Can we go out yet?
