I thought he was in that film too but as you said it's a different guy.

I love that film as well. I read somewhere that they were going to make a sequel to Midnight Run. Not sure that's a good idea, but I'd still watch it.

well there you go, I'd always thought it was the same actor as Billy Batts in Goodfellas. But I've checked on imdb and you're right, the bloke in Midnight Run is Dennis Farina.
He died too (in 2013) so RIP Dennis Farina as well.
