Thread of the Week - Really Fed Up Now

The title really sums up how most Derby County fans are feeling now - humiliated, embarrassed, dispirited and desperate.

Zhabba's initial post puts forward some strong opinions with which many fans will concur.

Questions are starting to be asked about Paul Jewell now because of the continuous 'the players aren't good enough' after-match press comments. In fact things are actually worse under Jewell than they were under Billy Davies. At least we won one game under Davies - and many of the players who 'aren't good enough' were in fact drafted in by Jewell.

The sooner this season is over then the better for all concerned. It's been a nine month nightmare. Most fans are agreed that the players no longer care - it may be that Savage and Stubbs are trying desperately hard and Darren Moore certainly cares - but are any of them actually good enough to even get us in the top six of the Championship?

It's been another quiet week on RamZone's Message Board with more posts on the subject of the Case Management hearing of the former owners of DCFC than on the dismal performances and the least said about the total capitulation to Arsenal the better. One has to ask the question why Earnshaw has spent so much of the season acquiring splinters in his posterior when he gets one chance and takes it and scores. No matter how much of an 'attitude' he is rumoured to have, surely he should have played in an attempt to at least restore some pride?

Hopefully some of the youngsters might be given a chance at Blackburn - after all, how much worse can it get? How much worse can defending get than the display by Andy Todd on Monday evening?

It really has been a complete and utter disaster from start to finish this season.

Thanks to all those who still continue to optimistically post their opinions on RamZone's Message Board - keep your views coming and let's hope we have at least something to cheer about in pre-season when some of these wretched players close the Pride Park door for the last time.
