But surely the fact there's never a guarantee you will produce 1 Matheson per year doesn't deny the fact that the Academy's success is a unique source of pride for the Club and for this one supporter as well. Of course you can debate the balance between youth and experience needed in a team but again, nobody spent transfer fees on 'established' players to attempt to replace Henderson etc intending they would spend 80% of the season not playing together.
