I just read in the Daily Telegraph comments section regarding Jack Stephens extra two game ban, that Arsenal and Leicester City are appealing against the ban! |

I believe NJ should immediately consult with any of the following people.......Big Sam, Sammy Lee or Neil Warnock to get some football sense knocked into him. Then he should consult with the nearest psychiatrist to get some common sense knocked into him. |

A good 'verdict' Nick. As supporters of the Saints, we are prepared to give our manager some slack, but what we cannot put up with is arrogance, stubbornness and not being able to learn from mistakes made. He seems to have the characteristics as our Ralf in those failings. |

Nick, For goodness sake try to keep your Ralph out of your editorials from now on. You are becoming extremely boring. You are swimming against the flow of reality. Ralph is water under the bridge.....thank goodness. |
| News Comment | Southampton Sack Ralph Hasenhuttl at 13:19:28
In my opinion there is a lot of sentimental rubbish on the comments here. Ralf, in my opinion, has been a disaster for this Club. It is like praising the dead. What he has achieved is mainly in spite of him.......not because of him. One must look at his record here. He has broken so many performance records, and that that itself is a record for a manager keeping his job for so long. For the last two years or so he has made so many stupid decisions with tactics, team selections and substitutions that it left me in despair. The only conclusion left for me being that he didn't know what he was doing. |

Nick You are at it again. The anti Ralf section IS the crowd. I can think of only one other person in Hampshire who would have selected Theo Walcott to play in that game.......and that is Mrs Walcott. |

Nick It will not be the supporters (or the moaners, as you call them) who will bring the Club down. It will be Ralf who will do that, if he is given time. |
| News Comment | Watt View - Wrong choices and poor decisions result in missed opportunity at Molineux at 23:39:37
I totally agree with the analysis given by Matt Watts. Our squad is now packed out with young and also experienced talent but I fear that our Ralph is not capable of using it to our best advantage. His team selections, tactics and his use of substitutes are quite often ridiculous. I often read comments praising him for keeping us in the Premiership but a more accurate statement would say that we have stayed in despite him. |
| News Comment | Southampton At Chelsea The Carabao Cup Verdict at 22:53:57
Ralf applied his usual sabotage to the team when he thinks we may win the game.....this time bringing on Walcott. Does the guy never learn from his mistakes? He is just too proud and stubborn to listen to the fans and follow their advice. I guess it is a waste of time getting him an assistant as he would always go his own way even though it has been proved time after time that it is a route to disaster. We are doomed. |
| News Comment | Saints V Arsenal The Verdict at 13:31:43
It seems we are not to be allowed to give our player ratings for the Arsenal game. That will be a pity as I was quite looking forward to scattering a few 2 or 3 scores around. I think such scores would not be amiss for Valery, PEH and McC. Stevens is also a likely candidate but maybe I could be super generous and award him a 4. Please Nick do not deny the fans the opportunity to assess our player's performance after each game, whether the game is watched at the ground or on TV. |
| News Comment | Saints At Manchester City The Verdict at 09:52:34
Can anybody tell me why Austin was brought on as substitute after 83 minutes when we were fighting to hang on to the point we deserved. As much as I like him he gives nothing in defense in time of need. Surely SD was the man who should have been brought on to support the defense. A crazy decision in my opinion but true to Pellegrino's form in matters of substitutes. |
