Yes, I am an old collector, I started with video highlights then one guy sent me a programme from the exact 1992-93 season (from the next round's bitter loss against Antwerp) and then the road from collecting programmes quickly started involving collecting the match tickets.
So far from the AGF match I have been able to find only highlights (from the two matches) and the programme from Denmark. Since I am searching for the ticket from Denmark and the full matches. By the way, I was in Aarhus last year at the SPOT Music festival and loved it, what a great city!
You had an absolutely miserable second leg, we were very lucky to qualify back in 1992! |

Hello to all, my name is Vlad, and I am Romanian football collector of tickets and programmes and a passionate football historian. I have started working on a project in the past year regarding my favorite club's (Steaua Bucharest) friendlies throughout the years. Having done a bit of research, I have found out that Steaua played a a friendly match against Swansea back in 2002. The reason I am writing to your forum is to kindly ask if perhaps some of the older fans have been to that match, since I am interested very much in more information about it.
I have managed to find the programme of the match (which is in my collection) but at this moment I would also be delighted to find a ticket stub from that game. Furthermore, any photos or video highlights would be absolutely wonderful since I have never seen anything from this match.
Looking forward for a reply and a help from a fellow football collector,

I can offer any memorabilia needed from the matches against Petrolul Ploiesti from last year plus the two matches recorded on DVD in both Romanian and Welsh.

Just a reminder of my old message, perhaps this time somebody with a ticket stub left somewhere might see it.
By the way, in the case in which anybody collects tickets of Swansea and has the friendly ticket against Steaua Bucharest from 2002, is there any chance I could have a scan of the ticket?

1. There were printed tickets for the match.

Hello, thank you very much for the information.
I might have heard this information before, no worries if tickets were not printed. It is in the end just a friendly game. But I like to have memorabilia from the international game.
Swansea's story is amazing and I am very happy to be in contact with people who saved their club. I actually made 2 friends on this forum when you trashed Petrolul.
Keep in touch, I will wait for some further info (if possible) for the ticket stubs:) Pay at the gate sounds pretty possible for a pre season friendly. |

Hello, I am Vlad, a Romanian football collector of tickets and programmes. As I was digging through my favorite team's history I found that Steaua Bucharest played a friendly match in Swansea in 2002. Since I collect all the international matches played by my team I was wondering if somebody might still have a ticket stub from that match. I do have the programme of the game, a black programme entitled "The Swan".
If anybody might still have the ticket stub from Swansea-Steaua 0-1 match back in 2002, I would be delighted to trade for it. I can offer in exchange the video matches on DVD of Swansea vs Petrolul Ploiesti, and memorabilia (ticket and programme) from the match played in Romania.

Hello, please allow me to introduce myself, I am Vlad, a collector of football memorabilia from Romania (currently building an online museum of the history of Romanian teams in European Cups) and a passionate football person in general. The reason I am writing to you concerns the match between Swansea and the Romanian team Petrolul Ploiesti.
The reason I am writing to you is because I would like to keep my collection intact even after this double;) My interest is mainly in tickets and programmes but I also keep all the European matches recorded on DVDs.
Therefore, if possible, it would be wonderful if any you guys could help me with 1-2 used match tickets and programmes. I can pay of course for any postal costs if needed. Furthermore, if interested I will offer memorabilia in return as well from the game played in Romania:) I will surely record both games on DVD.
