Nobody is trying to get anybody thrown off the trust believe me. Here you are again trying to fuel fires trying to put words in people's mouths. I was pointing out about behaviour on forums and in particular one person. Everyone was OK to move on from this but you obviously want to try and carry things on. I'm done with this forum I've been here in some guise or other since the late 1990's. I bid you all the best. Up the Dale
Constantly? Hang on a minute it looks like you are trying to fuel the fires here again when there has been a plea to stop all this. I'd suggest you pipe down
Royal Mail have staff shortages of up to 30%. Also they are struggling by to cope with extra parcels due to everyone ordering online. Maybe they should get extra workers in but that would cut into the hedge fund shareholders profits now its privatised.
I don't think its right that official club employees post on a fans forum in an official capacity anyway. It should be kept seperate away from the club so we can air our views otherwise it becomes a mouthpiece for the club.
Hear hear. It seems all the hard work done by yourself and Richard and the various other door knockers over the years is unravelling before our very eyes. I myself was a goldbond agent for many years, traipsing the hills of Whitworth in all weather's but I didn't mind one bit doing it as I felt part of the Dale family doing my little bit for it. Nowadays I feel so distant from the club, that community spirit and family feeling has gone. Maybe its evolution but in my eyes things have gone very wrong. I don't know who is to blame for it all but I'd love those days back so I can support my club again.
Hang on what about the existing sports clubs that form Rochdale Sports Club (cricket, lacrosse and squash) it sounds like your trying to get these under a compulsary purchase order. Our committees have worked very hard getting grants for improvement to the current facilities. You can't just come waltzing in getting the council to take them over.
Why have you scrapped the Xmas draw then? I'm a non trust member and have paid into the goldbond for over 20 years. I was a goldbond collector having two rounds for five years or so also and know the amount of money we collected for the Xmas draw made substantial help for the clubs finances. Seems a strange route to go what with the money from goldbond now going to other beneficaries aswell as the club.
They used to make a fortune off the back of the Xmas draw, seems traditional tried and tested ways of making good money are taking a backward step thesedays.
I think Dawson will end up as a coach with us at some point. He's big mates with BBM so I'm sure he's being touted for a similar position our manager had previously.
