Could this team push for promotion, the short answer has got to be, it's bloody unlikely! Whilst some of the players may be slightly better than expected you gave to remember most of them are still cast offs and we have had no pre season preparation whatsoever.
If, and I happen to think it's quite a big if, we manage to stay up this season we could have the same situation again next close season.
As a club there needs to be an entire change of mindset, there needs to be investment, pure and simple. I happen to think Karl may have bitten off a little more than he can chew with Riga, after all he's in a win, win situation, if he fails he can heap the blame on Karl (quite rightly so) and if he succeeds he enhances his reputation and he'll be off. |

It's a difficult one, the preseason has been so disjointed and problematic it's hard to know what to feel. The manager and some of the recent incoming players would normally be producing a degree of excitement but the manner of the way we have arrived at today is beyond stupidity.
Quite a few of the new arrivals have been free agents, it begs the question why they haven't arrived earlier.
We are still short of numbers, surely we need another keeper, we all saw the results of only having one most of last season, as for the rest, only time will tell! |

Just opened my copy and surprise, surprise they have us down as finishing 24th in the Division, or rock bottom if you prefer.
Mind you, they do have our featured key player as Angel Martinez, perhaps they know something we don't!
I know it's been asked before, but where do you see us finishing?
I'll go for an optimistic 17th  |

If there is one moment that summed up our time in the Premier League, that is it. The team spirit was just immense, it just all seems so far away now.

I think that Voy calls it right, perhaps they will take to the new regime once we have the bodies to make things interesting (and we seem to be getting there gradually) they may have already shafted themselves by showing their intentions to early to Riga.
I think we can probably do better than all three, with Davies being a possible exception, if he gets his head right.
But the bottom line should be, if they don't want to play for us, then off you go |

Looking good, takes a bit of time to get to grips with but then it is the same with any new forum/site
