I subscribe to DAZN. National League TV is extra on top and not included in the DAZN subscription. I had to pay for a weeks pass to watch the Wealdstone game. Womens Champions League is free to watch on DAZN, which is why you might have thought you've been given access to the full DAZN product. Try watching boxing. It's confusing, but NLTV is still a standalone product, you're just paying DAZN for it. |

A DAZN regular subscription doesn't include National League TV, and likewise a week pass to NLTV doesn't give you access to the rest of DAZN's content. |

I had the exact same problem. I re-registered, it still wouldn't recognise me, then I changed my password and it let me purchase a ticket. |

I don't really disagree with any of that Chaff but I think as a fanbase we are just utterly worn out by the amount of games we have lost in the last 5/6 seasons, and we've heard every excuse/reason under the sun for it. So I don't really blame anyone for their reactions. I think its also difficult to put a result in to context when I would wager most of us have no real idea about the opposition we are facing. The fanbase, sadly, also has to adjust to the level we are now at and can't just say "we should be beating x" just because we are historically bigger than them. |

Vote this down and vote them off. Gauge has failed miserably, literally couldn't have done a worse job. Incompetence is just as dangerous as malicious intent and we cant trust him with the future of the club/ground. |

Is this what saving the club looks like? Didn't we fight legal battles to specifically stop this? The only EGM we should be having is to remove Gauge. ASAP. |

| Forum Reply | Studds Bar at 14:08 15 Aug 2021
If Studds is no longer used as a function room (happy to be corrected), I think it would make much more sense for the full bar to be changed to a match day one. IE a much smaller choice of drinks, at the moment its a pub trying to serve all its customers in 10 minutes. If you don't miss the last 5 minutes of the first half, you don't get served well in to the half time break and by then I've given up before. I've never had a problem at away grounds where it's just one lager/cider/bitter option etc, as that allows one member of staff to get your drink whilst the other takes payment. It just takes too long to serve each customer in Studds but it's more the set up than the staff. |
| Forum Reply | Season ticket prices at 11:09 5 Aug 2020
I think the prices are very fair, taking into account the current situation and the prices of other League One clubs. I do have a question though, and I understand this is a logistical nightmare but wondering if anything can be done. Theirs a group of around 10 of us who all have season tickets together in the Pearl Street. Is there any way we will be able to be grouped together (socially distanced, obviously) or if I order my season ticket first, will it then block off my friends seats either side and then they will be relocated to the other end of the stand?! A significant reason for us all going is the social side of it, rather than just physically watching the match. |

I'm glad the Trust have recognised and apologised for the mistakes made. I have no doubts what so ever that it was a well intentioned move on their behalf, and one made by people who care deeply about the club. It was just poorly executed. I'm happy to accept the apology and move on and I'm happy that all supporters can now make a choice they are comfortable with. [Post edited 28 Jul 2020 15:20]

I've been saying I won't be claiming a refund since the season ended but to be honest this has changed my mind. Of course, this feels like it's been designed to make you feel bad if you claim a refund. Who would be against free tickets for key workers? No one I imagine. But why are the club painting this as their gesture when it's not, and would be a gesture from the season ticket holders who had paid for them - who have had no input into this, which is even more surprising given the Trust were involved. The deliberately ambiguous "opting out" process - which surely means you can claim a refund - is also crass. I'm pretty sure I will be requesting a refund now and the group I go with are likely to do the same. Were discussing a few ways we'd rather use the money and to be honest all suggestions we've come up with will see all the money go back to the club. It might seem petty but deciding what to do with our money and the presumptuous nature of it has left a sour taste in the mouth. |

I hope I'm being extremely pessimistic but I don't see the lower leagues competing next season, not in its usual format at the very least. If the league votes next week not to resume, with the main concern the lack of match day income, then presumably we can't start next season until crowds are allowed back in again. I don't see that being this calender year, and the later it gets, I don't think they will want to disrupt the usual season start/end dates and will make a full campaign impossible. Some outside the box thinking is going to required to enable us to have some sort of competition before a real restart for the 21/22 season. Maybe some significant money will come down from the top which would enable a behind closed doors start with a weekly/monthly review on fan attendance. Lots of logistical problems all round to sort out with that but it will have to be done. I think once crowds are allowed back, they'll be a massive demand for it, especially if this current situation is prolonged. Either way, I'm worried about the game below Championship level. |

You can't please everyone. Certainly not Rochdale fans! Did we sell out when we reduced admission for the Boston and Wrexham games? Vast majority of clubs price matches based on their attractiveness, I don't know why anyone expects us to be different. If it comes to a replay I'm sure Newcastle will reduce their usual prices, and if they draw City at home in the next round I'm sure they'll increase them or price them at their top Catagory, as we have. It just seems that every single thing the club do at the moment is pounced on as part of a campaign against the CEO and it's getting boring. |

How alienated do fans feel when they pay for their vastly discounted season tickets? Maybe a price list of other League One season tickets should be provided with renewal forms. I'm guessing you could have gone to every home cup game this season, including whatever the tinpoint trophy is called this week, and still have paid less than most other clubs season tickets. So as to the usual cry of "wheres X money gone?" Look around, attendances are roughly the same as they were 5 years ago, yet we pay a lot less to attend. The shortfall has to be made up somewhere. Let's see if our squad is improved on in January, and whether we sell anyone. Maybe this tie means we can rebuff any offers until another window. My "at cost" comment was obviously an exaggeration, but as the media will describe this as a money spinning tie it seems most people on here hope we don't make a penny. |

Depends what your opinion is - is pricing the game at Catagory B prices (Same as Sunderland and others that I'm unsure of at the top of my head) going to put off a significant amount of people? My opinion is no, certainly not Newcastle fans who will sell out their allocation anyway. So just taking them into account - 3200 x £5 = £16,000 straight away. I'd rather the club made this money on top rather than take it out of the TV fee. We budget for a loss year in year out. I don't expect a day like this to be run at cost as a pat on the back for being a fan. How do you sell a future Cat B game if this isn't one? Where did I say our transfer policy would change? Being able to afford an extra player that this fixture could pay for isn't a change in policy. Any profit will help the club in whatever department it chooses to spend it on and I'm happy with that. |
| Forum Reply | Newcastle tickets at 10:27 19 Dec 2019
Exactly my thoughts. I'd rather pay an extra couple of quid, and the club makes money, with a chance to improve the squad, rather than them "cover" it with the TV fee. We get very few days to make money, I don't consider this a rip off at all - a lot of League One grounds charge £24/£25 to get in. These are the kind of ties we dream about, we might have been spoilt with Spurs and United in the last few years but we can't take these draws and days for granted. I guess the attendance will justify the prices (or not), but if they had been lowered I'd bet anything people would be moaning that we aren't charging enough to bring in new players! |

I purchased 19 tickets today and the girls in the ticket office sorted it out really well, gave us a full row and 5 directly behind without any problems. Brilliant service. |
