Sheehan deal almost confirmed
at 09:05 22 Mar 2025

As I said earlier I hope we have a back up plan if he turns it down. A job for 6 weeks then quite possibly out on his backside if a new guy wants his own staff. As the article says he will want guarantees, will the club give them.

🏆World Cup qualifier weekend
at 08:58 22 Mar 2025

I just smiled when the commentator minutes before kick off was taking it for granted that England would be playing in the finals, that's before a qualifying ball had been kicked. Just so arrogant.

If you persist with a policy that 61% of the Welsh electorate do not want you will fail.

Until the end of the season if he accepts. I really hope we have a back up plan if he turns it down.

Is there £17,000 vat in the higher cost that could be knocked off.

Released from the restraints of Williams he seems a much better player, but he is still makes a lot of errors. Missing relatively easy chances and taking up poor positions. Will this improve with game time, it should. Will we be patient with him possibly but I think it will depend on who the coach and the system he plays. 8 games left this season and probably 4/5 next season before the window closes, plenty of time to impress or not.

If Plaid put forward two referendums, one on independence and one on abolishing the Senedd, I would vote for them. It would never happen.

Have you heard about the high court case next month where the government are being taken to court on behalf of the 100,000 special educational needs children in private schools. If they win the vat will be removed again. I'm not saying it will happen but provision should have been made in the original legislation to accommodate these children. No forward thinking by Reeves yet again.

Apparently their manifesto is coming out in May/June. Which seems far too early for me.

As soon as one gets in its first aim is to reverse the policies of the other, next change of government rinse and repeat. We need sensible middle ground policies, these changes cost us a fortune.

Gwyn if you lived in Wales and saw the way we are being run into the ground by Welsh Labour you would vote for virtually anyone to get them out. If Plaid dropped their independence stance they would get a massive increase in votes. Failing that Reform are the only real option, unless you count Conservatives and that won't happen.

I take your point, but he has made quite a few mistakes, although he has kept us in games. The voting this year will be interesting.

That doesn't happen in Wales only from those naughty English darts fans in England. When they sing it to a Welsh darts player, Sky should mute the volume, it would never happen in Wales. Luckily Welsh people don't take ourselves that seriously.

He's not been here long but I would go for O'brien just ahead of Franco. O'brien has been a breath of fresh air with his forward play.

All this Budget Speculation
at 11:39 21 Mar 2025

February borrowing £10.7bn, the government's independent forecaster had predicted that borrowing would be £6.5bn for the month. Labour really don't know what they are doing. They need to get Reeves out now before it's to late.

Yes I enjoy watching the international football. In fact I just enjoy watching football, kids on the park. non league, club football, international football, even walking football in the local leisure centre. Just because find it boring don't think the rest of us do. Get out and watch your local non league club this weekend, you may enjoy it.
