Let's see how things go but, three year plan or not, failure to at least reach the play offs would be a disaster. The board have backed Jim with the budget and a three year contract but they'd have a big decision to make if we finish outside the top 7. |

I think a better manager has us 8-10 points better off at this stage. If we splutter into the play offs I have zero confidence JM could negotiate a path to the final let alone win it. |

Just be nice to read some football chat rather than amateur sleuthing.
Anyway, agree with one of the previous comments; Waller by far our MOM. In fact, probably the only one to come out of that with any real credit as the scoreline could have been a lot worse. We never looked like scoring, or even creating anything.
All in all, dull and uninspiring. |

Assuming the funding and an appropriate site could be found I don't understand how anybody could object to the idea of a new stadium.
We have a ground way out of the town centre away from train and tram links with insufficient parking. A dated standing terrace with rubbish views. Uncomfortable and tight seating in the main stand. A rubbish atmosphere with fans too spread out with any noise generated from The Sandy lost due to rubbish acoustics. Sub-standard bars, kiosks and hospitality areas and a pitch with zero drainage. Other than that it's great.
I know there's always an emotional connection but if we want to build the fan-base we need to improve the fan experience. This could be the biggest transformative event in the club's history if done properly. A facility that can house a training ground and community hub and generate income 7 days a week has to be considered, surely? |

We finished 11th last season, 9 points off the play offs with a tiny squad. The goal absolutely has to be the play offs but, as a minimum, we should be looking to close the gap and build a foundation for a big push next season. |

McNulty has a new problem this season and has to manage a squad of players rather than the team picking itself due to lack of options. I was concerned at his pre-match comments about rotation and my fears were realised with the team selection. I do think as a young student of the game Jim has a habit of overthinking things. |
