Davis used to get criticised for his kicking but I know for a fact that he was under similar instructions to get the ball wide. Despite that though, Boruc can be a liability with the ball at his feet.
Sometimes last year, we just played too much football. Look at our 'route one' goal against Man Utd…..it shows that sometimes a long, hopeful punt down the middle does pay off. |
