THE GOOD. Increased communication - good, welcome, to be encouraged. Certainly not to be discouraged. Success this season was a midtable finish, half of the summer signings being good players for us, one of the summer signings being a big sale for us. We're now just about parring that course. Credit where credit is due.
THE BAD. Statement talking about all your great ideas because you've had a good December (after a terrible Sep/Oct/Nov) and risen to the dizzying heights of 14th in the Championship... Hmmmm. Where were you when we were sht, etc etc. More humble, less hubris. Lose to Swansea, lose to Norwich, lose to Watford, drop back towards the bottom three, the mood will lurch violently again.
I think a good lesson for us all from the last six months is things are rarely as good or as bad as they seem.
You'll be glad to know I've done a 4,500 word version of that for the match preview...

I mean I don’t know how close you are and whether it’s worth chancing it but Swansea have said that game is all ticket every year and every year there’s been a cash sales window. |

Very welcome.
And doesn't appeared to have resulted in any loss in "competitive advantage" either.
In fact, a much more 'all in it together', backs-to-the-wall, collective response. Fans more onside. Three home wins in a row. Atmosphere fantastic.

He's easily the best thing about them. We elevated them six places in our season preview purely on the basis he was still manager. |
