Being sent for a scan on Monday.

Redknapp: "It doesn't look good. It's his left knee. Everyone's keeping everything crossed that it's not as bad as we fear."

Ian Taylor: "Big win for the R's. Soured by the injury to @alefaurlin. Everyone at the club praying it's not as bad as we fear."

Ah f.....

Had a great game today with Barton tackled well passed well back to his best

He knew when he went down it was bad and think a few players who went up to him I knew as well

Let's hope they are wrong and it's not as bad as we all think it maybe.

Very short on midfielders now
Carroll
Faurlin
Oneil
Nico

All possibly out for a While

I must say I thought Harry looked very depressed about this in the post-match interview. I think the news on Monday will be grim.

Nice tweet in Spanish from Chevanton to Ale.

Fingers crossed on Monday.

Awful news that spoiled a good win for me. I only listened on QPR player and you could hear Rufus behind the commentator saying
" what a great ball "
Today heralded Ale's chance to get himself a permanent place in the side and it sounded like he'd done that.
Regardless of Derby needing the goal to get a draw, the loss of Faurlin immediately changed the momentum of our day from how it sounded.
Good Luck Ale! and as for QPR they are running out of MF's....where's Buz?

Maybe a way back of Diakete?

No doubt we'll sign Benyoun instead though.

Think everyone in the ground new it was bad, feel so sorry for him

I know Jamie Mackie had and still has what Jon Doeman rather condescendingly calls plenty of 'fanboys' out there in R's messageboardland, but out of all the many mainly ultimately negative fortunes of QPR players in the last 5 years and admittedly that sewer rat's Diouf's premeditated assault on JM up at Blackburn that January day was pretty horrendous, what happened to AF today with him thumping the halfway line pitch in agony - leaves me completely gutted more than any other incident over the last few years and subtracts and overshadows from today's otherwise immensely enjoyable game.

It makes me think of the career devastating but unwitnessed by me - too young - horrible leg break of Martyn, not to be confused with Viv his brother, Busby at Fulham in 1972.

An honourable gentleman who I've never seen giving less than his best - I wasn't there for the nightmare MK Dons leg break or the apparently pathetic performance this season v Swindon - he had been magnificent first time out v Wednesday:

and R's MoM v the Latics

Ale's a real 'right stuff' Hoops midfield gent. A decent modest goodguyness shines from every pore of his being:

..and Geesoos Christ, silly hexy sod that I am, I had him at 14-1 first scorer and an Argentinean smiling sun powder blue and white flag tucked away in my coat with me ready to spread (under the Ellerslie W Block tv gantry)..

By Toutatis,we all know he lost pace and was pitched in too often and too soon post that dread MK Dons FA Cup game but what a thoroughly decent and honourable non-stop giving-his-all fellow he is..

"FAURLIN!, THERE'S ONLY ONE FAURLIN!"

FFS, get well soon Ale.

Monday addendum:
My thoughts and prayers are all with Ale today.
Anything under 6 months and I'll be ecstatic.
This is for him.

Well said 18 stone .
Very sad if it's another bad one, He was looking like he was getting back his best last 2 games as well. Defo taken the shine of a very enjoyable match.

It's a shame great players like Faurlin suffer from persistent injuries. He will be missed, but I feel the club has enough in its armour to cover for him. Hope this set back is not too serious.

There aint half been some clever bastards.

Today was a statement game for Ale. He had the chance to prove that he had what it took and by the sound of it he took the chance with both hands. He was everywhere, made great tackles, important tackles, great crosses, great corners, great free kicks. You had the feeling that we had found a really good combination today. Please please please god let this be minor.

yes, he has been showing signs over the last 6 weeks that he was really finding his feet again. Played well today, if not brilliantly, but passed it well and intelligently and won a lot of the ball. You can tell Joey loves having him there. I'm so gutted for him.
Suspect he was pounding the ground in frustration and anger rather than pain, but could be wrong, or even it was a bit of both. Can't believe it's happened to him again.
Worst of all, that could be the last time we see him in a QPR shirt. If it's an ACL or similar, that's him out for the season, then his contract is up. Was going to be a fight to get it renewed as it was. So sad.

Bare bones.

A real shame. Hope he's ok. Be incredibly hard mentally for him to recover if it ends up being a long term rehab again.

This is terrible news.Terrible. And very worrying that everyone close has serious fears. The only faint but legitimate hope is he hasnt been seen by any kind of specialist yet.

gutted for him, was enjoying watching the way he makes the game look so easy.

he just casually knocks the ball around without any visible pressure and then steps up with important challenges all over the place. Him and Joey by far our best combo in the middle.

fingers crossed for Monday

Absolutely gutted for him if it's anything like as serious as it looked. His style when playing well is conducive to injuries though, which is so frustrating.

Contract up soon, could be the last time we ever see him in a rangers shirt.....

He was excellent again yesterday as well and from memory the injury came because he lost the ball a minute or so earlier and he looked desperate to make up for it and stretched too far. Really sad and a massive loss for us.

Gutting. Just as he was starting to play something like he can again as well. Devastating.

Fingers crossed for Ale, he is one of he nicest and mst honest players around these days, even when he accidentally injured a Derby player yesterday he went up to him to check he was alright in a really compassionate fashion, lovely guy and of all people doesn't deserve his bad luck with injuries.

I think he was tiring - he gave away a couple of free kicks with slightly late challenges and was booked for one not long before the injury I think. He probably should have been subbed at that stage - pity he wasn't.

I agree with this. He was excellent and everywhere yesterday. Love the way he cushions a ball with that cultured left foot - BUT - he was tiring and he could have been sent off for a possible second bookable foul. Not a bad one but some refs may have given him another yellow. Retrospectively that was a cue to sub him as he did do his knee minutes later. Really hope it is not as bad as it looked. It looked like a repeat of the MK Dons injury to me which is dreadful news. BUT - fingers crossed it may not be as bad on the scan. Really a shame as we were all saying he was starting to look like the Ali he was a few years back.

Really good bloke. Hope he gets back soon.

Never knowingly right.
