Pay him to do a job, he does the job, everyone's happy. Only risk is he poisons the atmosphere, but he cant be worse than Lita/Graham were alleged to be.

Yes, because God forbid we form opinions of our own.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Odemwingie on 08:01 - Aug 25 with 5373 views | Big_Unit | Everyone also seems to have forgotten him taunting the East Stand after knocking Taylor out. The man is a mercenary, as seen in the QPR incident. It's a fairly solid no from me. Agent stirring up interest
Odemwingie on 08:59 - Aug 25 with 5315 views | 2face | This is deja vu for me. Same discussion as with Shelvey. Swansea has a long history of signing players that were misfits in their former clubs. And most of them have thrived in Swansea. What has changed?
Odemwingie on 09:09 - Aug 25 with 5295 views | blackswan | cant see this one myself mainly as we tend to sign younger hungry players with a good attitude doubt we would match his salary demands as a back up striker. its common knowledge we are after another forward and will be linked with anyone who may be available.

Shelvey wasn't exactly a misfit in Liverpool. He just didn't have a major breakthrough due to heavy competition from the likes of Gerrard.

Hehe. Guess it depends on the definition of misfit. I distingush between not getting playing time simply because others are better than you, and not being able to fit in because you don't have the skills, attitude, desire etc. Dictionary: Misfit = One who is unable to adjust to one's environment or circumstances or is considered to be disturbingly different from others.

Odemwingie on 10:03 - Aug 25 with 5207 views | Jackbustard | The QPR thing was funny and probably wasn't his fault it's not for that reason I don't like him. Remember when he almost killed Neil Taylor down here after smashing into him on purpose when going up for a challange. The lad was knocked clean out and was carried off the field, then he comes over to the east stand flexing his muscles and kissing his arms to take the piss. One of the most dispicable things I've seen on a football pitch. And for that reason I think he's a c@nt.

I expect that Laudrup and Jenkins know more about what happened in the last transfer window than we do and won't sign a player who is likely to be trouble. From what Laudrup said previously about a different type of striker he would be a good fit. I don't think we are just looking for a Bony replacement in case he gets injured, we want a true alternative in case that particular setup isn't working on the day.

he'd be our c@nt though innit, if his heads right he would be a great asset to our team, you can't fault his goal scoring record, if he's good enough for ml n huw he's welcome here

Bony is an Ivory Coast international and Odemwingie is a Nigerian International,so what happens around the time of the African Cup of Nations. Would we lose our main striker and back up striker ? If so for that reason it is a big no from me!

Odemwingie on 10:27 - Aug 26 with 4368 views | Laudrup | http://www.afp.com/en/node/1053496 ...Defeat means Swansea have failed to take a point from their opening two league games and manager Michael Laudrup is now poised to up his interest in West Bromwich Albion forward Peter Odemwingie. "He's a player with pace who knows the league but there will be more links the closer we come to deadline," he said. "There will be more rumours with our club and others. But it's no secret, I'm pleased with my squad but we need one more thing in that area and then we can have a complete squad -- if you can have such a thing." However, Laudrup warned his side must change if they are to compete against the division's top teams. "We have to accept too that physically most of other teams are stronger than us, but we compensate with the way we play," he said. "We did it for the first 30 minutes and last 30 minutes."
