His dad is Chelsea but he went to Rangers with his mates, he grew up in Ealing. He still has his home in Weybridge and still seen regularly locally. |  |

Andy Pape was at Enfield for about 6 years. It was there he made his name and earnt the majority of his recognition.
He did go to the scum for 3 or 4 years in the early 90s. You have to remember this is when they were behaving like Chelski and buying success.
He then returned to the Es for another few years before going on to represent so other teams.

That's exactly what they did to get out of non-league. They were a nothing no mark team until the carrot of promotion to the FL (which was earnt by proper clubs like Altricham, Runcorn, Enfield etc) was dangled and Stan Flashman came in with his bent ticket tout money and started buying players for sums no-one else could compete with.

This would make sense because I cannot remember who told me but they were not trying to upset me and they reckoned that Crouch definitely grew up Chelsea. If we could swap him for Wise I'd be happy.
