Yet again another great report.
The lack of coaches is another reason why this upturn in form is absolutely fantastic, it's good to know that sheehan along with these other coaches are telling the powers that be that help will be needed sometime, sheehan and the coaching team have done well in their temporary stint, sheehan has learnt alot in those two stints, enough imo to make him go for the full time job, he ticks all the boxes apart from the experience at full time manager box but you have to start somewhere, he won't have a better chance of being a full time no1, I'm hoping he has the balls to go for it. |  | |  |

He has a job to do, he has rare opportunities to ask the questions, I can’t blame him for that. He may see himself as being the person responsible for doing so. Whether he came out of that with any credibility is for the individual to judge. It all seemed a bit pointless but at least he can say he tried. | |

Didn’t I sort of indicate that in the report. Five questions to ask the same thing ?
I’m just looking at it from his point of view, it’s an option in journalism, nonsense or not I covered my thoughts in the report. There’s no need to fall out with a journalist who is trying to get answers, our Swansea managers get a very easy ride compared to others. It really shouldn’t be a part of what anyone takes from this, surely Sheehan’s current options, especially as they are factually correct and researched to clarify matters is the point of all this ? You now know them. Gareth Vincent’s ability to ask or deliver a pertinent question is not my concern. I’m just offering an answer. having been in that situation many times. If you don’t think he feels responsible for asking these questions or it is disrespectful that’s between you and the interviewer. Not me. Just trying to include your post and yourself in a discussion.
As for an interrogation as you mention …

great report and sums up where we are especially where it talks of the pressure or lack of on Sheehan.
He has done a great job since stepping up but as the report says he has yet to feel any pressure or circumstances where his job is at risk due to results going rhe wrong way.
He has come in and raised our play ....it appears he has rhe players backing which is probably because he has changed training from that of Williams reported to have been not popular with the players.
There are many already calling for AS to get the full time time gig and whilst inital results and entertainment factor has been good the questions have to be asked if Sheehan has the ability to cope and deal with things going wrong including players reducing their co operation.
In the meanwhile let's not pressure him but enjoy rhe fruits of his hard labour |  |

I look forward to your posts as i do the pressers i just dont see the point of a 15 min interview that only mentions the actual match in the last 2 mins GV did exactly the same thing. I'm in no way dissing your articles as with RichardO's post they aee very interesting and informative its just the vids put out by the club are all very samey especially the new player interviews where I could put my house on the opening question being " Welcome to Swansea ...... what was it that made you choose Swansea.
