A good old fashioned low block would help. The tactical change is called pragmatism and is out of fashion even at Cardiff so they lost 7-0.
At one time Swansea would always be competitive. It persisted until Martin ball arrived then tonkings started to happen because the club has it's philosophy.

The midfield has been one of our main weaknesses for quite some time don't necessarily think that is 100 percent down to the players as our setup has not helped . Any weakness in other parts of the pitch is amplified when the midfield isn't right. [Post edited 6 Feb 10:39]
