A fantastic start and apart from a 10- 15 min spell Blackburn don't know what as hit them

Where do you start picking out player that have shone, they all have . Edwards is pure class... how on earth he can't get in that Southampton team is a mystery.
Jimmy is just Jimmy.... Nardi so solid and so assured, with captain Cook overseeing things. Field going about his work as usual, but Morgan looks a little quiet
Chair is excellent in this 10 role, best game sp far from him Smyth again all over them and Frey well. I was a CB and would have hated playing him. He is the antipathy of a beast
The best for me is last.... Saito!!! This lad has had possibly the best half of any player this season, attack defence he has done it all

Good half but Blackburn aren't a walk inmthe Park, you can see they've got decent players.

We've been excellent. Edwards, Chair, Saito, Paal, Frey in particular. The only worry is that it is ONLY 1-0, when 2 or 3 would be a better refelction.

How rare that we're almost all in agreement!l
Obviously, great to score so early, then had a dodgy 10 minutes requiring a great save from Nardi but I think we controlled the next 30 minutes, playing some great football all over the park. Should be more than just the one goal to the good. Just have to hope and pray that we don't regret not taking advantage of our dominance.
