Stephen Clemence has “parted company” with Barrow.
Also leaving is his assistant, one Robbie Stockdale.

The real question should be...How do they do it and keep getting offers?

The vacancy at Barrow has been filled quickly by Andy Whing.
What effect that will have on Solihull Moors’ season remains to be seen.

Whing joins The Bluebirds...

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

......forget the boys for a minute, if you ever want to see the problems of playing out from the back, watch the highlights of WSL game Man City v Man Utd (2-4) yesterday. Absolute shambles from City, quite comical really.

Wasn’t there a goal straight from the kickoff due to keeper error?

Indeed, kick off.....played back to GK who had come way out, hooves it against maurauding Manu forward, Toone ,who beats her for pace in retreat and into open net.

Many folk have given up even pointing it out anymore it's that common, yet bizarrely most teams are still very much obsessed with keepers and defenders looking to break the world record for the most amount of passes during any 90 min period

There's a real "Emperor's New Clothes" thing going on among football coaches, indoctrinated to the point of denying the reality we can all see

It's got to the point where goals are being conceded without any embarrassment. I'm not even sure the word "defender" has that much meaning any more

To describe it as "bollocks" would be a disservice to gonads

Talking of goalkeeper errors I see that the Chelsea manager was defending Bobby Sanchez after he made a mistake which led to a goal last night.
“He has saved us more often than he has cost us” was the gist of his argument.

Examine these captivating tactics for participating in online UNO matches! on 09:28 - Jan 21 with 761 viewspeterpanpan

1. When initially engaging in https://unoonlinegame.io, it is essential to utilize oversized cards. If your adversary crosses the finish line prior to you, your score will dramatically diminish.
2. Which color possesses greater significance? This position designates you as the clear winner and presents your opponent with a significant challenge.
To impede the line or compel your opponent to draw extra cards, you can scrutinize and then return their cards.
Employ the shift, no slide, and +2 instructions at the opportune moment to surprise your opponent and modify the game's graphic presentation.
5. Maintain the hue of the +4 card for the longest term achievable. It is prudent to maintain these potent cards, since they will aid in ascertaining the victor if conditions are good.
Assume you possess an inadequate quantity or diversity of cards to mislead your opponent into employing the cards you require.
Participate in the game and demonstrate equity! Ultimately, UNO's principal aim is to unite individuals through engaging activities. Participate in online UNO matches and derive enjoyment.

I think there's a reason this style of play is embraced so warmly by the players also. A lot of the physical aspect and blood and thunder challenges is reduced, less crosses into the box means less heading of the ball. A slow tempo to the game and short passes between the defenders gives the players a opportunity to rest and reset. Statistics might prove that theory wrong but it's how it appears to me, it's very rare you see players coming off the pitch drenched in sweat and covered in mud. I call it dot to dot football, the coaches have taken the emotion and unexpected out of the game. The flare players who would get you out of your seat are now expected to be defenders also and their game suffers. Alarakhia is a great example of that and you can see the frustration in his body language. The young coaches can't veer away from the blueprint because it will jeopardise their progression in the game. Jim McNulty has a vested interest in keeping to the manual. Sometimes it looks great if the balls moved quickly but a lot of the times it's like watching paint dry. The games changed.

There's a lot in that, which makes it all the more odd that players go down with injuries on such a regular basis these days, given their (supposedly) higher levels of fitness and modern treatments

The days of gaining promotion with a squad of 16 players are well and truly over, on often terrible pitches too. This is highlighted every time we see reels of games from the 60s/70s as with the footage of Denis Law in the past few days

Your point about Allarakhia is also a good one. A few months ago i pointed out his poor body language after he was subbed and had to walk halfway round the pitch. He'd been the only player creating much that evening but had just conceded the ball whilst on defensive duties and was pulled shortly after. Seems to have lost his starting place now
