I feel that if the boardroom are not fully behind him and the players are struggling with his training techniques, he needs to be gone, whether that is through him going to WBA or us sacking him.
We would need someone in quickly though, given that it's the transfer window.

He's lost the faith and trust of a large section of the supporters, and as you've stated some in the boardroom (which I have no reason to doubt given your excellent track record of factual reporting). I hoped/wanted Williams to be successful, but for me it's a case of when rather than if. Today? This week/month? Later in the season (once safety is confirmed) or end of season. Whenever it is, I can't see him taking us u to the 25/26 season. | | | |

I’m at the point now where I hope both LW and WBA are interested in eachother and that he goes tomorrow. This is an opportunity for us which if played well could result in us being a lot better off in the league.
If what was said about the training regime in the report is true then that is eye opening. It confirms to me he’s a One Way Willy and that’s not good enough. I think he’s a lazy coach, interested in only doing it one way and keeping in doing that regardless of his team’s ability or results. Who did he learn that from I wonder? |  |

I think alot of this is being blown out of proportion here. I think Williams hasn't helped himself with his answers to the press, if we got a result on the weekend then a lot of it would have been taken with a pinch of salt but on the back of a 4-0 loss it creates a mass blow out for me.
Clearly there is something in the corridors that suggests things are not correct, I think there is an individual/s who think that things could be done better or someone can do better........thinking and doing are two different things!
I am dumbfounded that the reaction here is as if we are flirting with the bottom 3 and not mid table with a transfer window now open and with owners who have a bit to spend in areas that could push us on.
Maybe it suits that we are in a bit of turmoil with the manager during the transfer window! |  |

I can't see West Brom needing to interview Williams, all the talk will be through his agent
If they want him they will trigger his release clause, if he does go I hope we don't dive in as regards as a new coach, I'd be inclined to let Sheehan see the season out, and do due diligence on a new coach.

Just read it, and your right , his actions/comments have affected the club,team, players and fans , at a crucial time,
Darling as you say has shown how hes been affected in the goal, mix up with Tymon, yet his desire to drive on was aslo evident
Everything has been thrown into a mess to do with the club/and possibly season by LW, he needs to come clean , sort it out or get out.
