Was the captain's message to the team I'm going to spend more time further up the pitch and we have wingers on the pitch to provide width so get the ball to them quicker.Fullbacks make sure once they look to use their wingers you both get goal side and tight when needed.
If I have to dropback then tuck unto the middle to provide options in the midfield for the forwards and because as I may need to drop deep the centrehalves can push out wide but if we do lose the ball trying to over play make sure you get back quickly to cover the middle of the defence with me.
And remember if we are one nil up or even drawing, there are points in the bag, let's not be stupid trying to go gun ho to kill the game off instead do it properly they will over commit and chances will open up for us to capitalise but if we don't win our battles in all areas of the pitch we will be picked off. |  | | |
