Swansea City v Queens Park Rangers : Match day Thread on 16:58 - Dec 26 by AnotherJohn | Well we did not replicate the first half, but that was the best win for a long time. At least we cut out the mistakes, even when we went into our shell a bit. When we can produce 90 minutes like the first 45 we will climb the league. |
We are punching well above our position atm. With a few decent attacking additions I can see us challenging for the top 6.

Exactly Williams is doing a tidy job with what he has at hi s disposal Hopefully we will have a few experienced Championship players come in next month. It's not easy playing 3 games in a week with our squad depth

Excellent performance and I include the 2nd half, no team with the quality of QPR is or shouldn't roll over so I expected a response from them, (even carduff nearly pulled it back) and there was , I thought we at times looked too comfortable and QPR were lulling us into a false sense of security but certainly in the 1st half of which I've not seen replicated for a long time our movement passing accuracy were at time sublime , willing runners into the channels and pin point crossing and passing meant QPR couldn't get near us. The one big disappointment today was , why as Union jack alluded to , just why

Agreed Vetch, like on my reply to WR, some people just revel in negativity, they hate it when we win, especially when we win well, they have nothing to moan about. Let's hope we can keep this form up so the new owners will put themselves out in Jan and the negativity doom mongers don't rack up their posts.

The next two games are definitely winnable but my concern is the squad depth and the number of games in a short timescale. But win the two and we are right in the mix.

Less to discuss rather than moan about. Don’t forget, if every day contained good news , no newspapers would be sold😁. Best performance at home probably since that famous game against WBA all those years ago. First half especially.

Most of know that our squad is threadbare, in August we got rid of 12 and got 6 in so it isn't surprising really but try telling that to the doom mongers

Correct, it shows that negativity trumps positivity UJ, bloody shame as today needs talking about more imo than a loss.

It was one of the best 90 mins of football we have witnessed from the team for a while. Complete dominace in the first half with QPR hardly putting a foot in our half and we could/should have been 5 up at half time. Whilst QPR made subs and tactical changes Second half we coped with them and we could have scored a couple more. No Second half capitulation as we saw against Sunderland and good to see Ben Lloyd getting a cameo. As other have said our paper thin squad in terksn9f quality will take an effect with our next game being as close as Sunday but tonight the Swans are flying high whilst once again gone away are the Bluebirds

Swansea City v Queens Park Rangers : Match day Thread on 18:57 - Dec 26 with 735 views | SullutaCreturned | A few things had to come together to make today possible and it started well when the team was announced, no Fulton alongside Grimes! It got even better when it became apparent that Grimes was much more on the front foot. Cullen is by far the most improved player, he has definitely found his best position and brilliantly him dropping back a bit has also increased his goals output. I thought we were fantastic all over the pitch, the high possession stat was accompanied by possession with intent. we had more shots than them by 10- 4 and 8 on target. Our passing success rate was nearly 94% which is incredible and to cap it off, Vigoroux didn't have a save to make, a shutout by a dominant defence. We are very much a Jekyll and Hyde team. A few decent signings in January and we can be more confident but the players need to keep this going. I enjoyed it so much I diodn't even come straight home!
Swansea City v Queens Park Rangers : Match day Thread on 18:58 - Dec 26 with 733 views | builthjack | Didn’t decide to go until 1.15pm Got in the ground just at kick off time. Good performance, we took it to them. Did all the damage first half, then solid second half. Well done. Just home, now for Turkey sarnies and all the bits.
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Squad depth is probably why we struggled at Hull and couldn't hold out against Sunderland the week before.
