Excellent summary of the game. I'm not sure everyone will accept it though.

Stats and facts compared to the watching eye will always be subjectively objective. Always on a collision course 😉

Lovely report but 14 'defensive actions' what does that mean and when did these absolute batshit expressions become commonplace in football?

You can ask Trystan on Twitter.

I think it’s fairly obvious.

New generations mate, when we first started to travel away with the MAGS most weeks none of this was relevant. It’s a completely new era and holds very little to compare with the awful football we witnessed and loved.

Not at the time though 😂

How many have no intention to go to matches and are only looking for feeble excuses to justify their their decision.

Couldn’t disagree more
I’ve seen much excitement and great football in the olden days
I can go back to Cliff Jones ,Flickr, Barrie Jones and Ivor .
It wasn’t awful.
Neither was the best game alive ever seen in the flesh
Liverpool v St Etienne
Modern day football is tedious to many
Fact

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

I remember those days, yet, even those great players mentioned didn’t get us to the top tier of the football league.
Historically we are a second divion club, you may think that todays football is boring, I disagree, this season we have seen some very good, open games of football.

Morning Rog.
You misunderstand
I’ve not said All football today is so.
What I was responding to was the notion that old time football WAS boring
At the top, nothing beat the European Cup where real champion clubs competed against each other in knockout format .
