Wales u21 determined to not qualify? 17:37 - Oct 11 with 1134 views | ReslovenSwan1 | Matt Jones and his chums at the FAW have messed up again. This group has never qualified for the finals and this is a great chance. Matt Jones took off his star player Rubin Colwill away in Denmark while he had the Danes on toast. This does not happen very often for Wales. Wales were 2-1 v nine men. They relaxed and allowed the Danes and equalizer from a corner. Then Jones dropped Colwill at home and Wales lost 1-2 with Colwill forcing a consolation. Colwill did not play last time either as Bellamy had him getting splinters for the first team and he did not get a kick. Beck was moved up too. At least this time he was put with the u21 s for a vital game. A win should see automatic qualification. Guess what? An administrative error means neither Colwill nor Beck can play. This should be followed by a sacking of who ever was asleep. This is what they are working for. Shameful treatment of Wales best young players. I am not impressed with Jones at all. He should give been following the administration chain himself. I n top of that it looks as if Joe Taylor issues switching to Scotland. Jones preferred Josh Thomas but Joe scored 21 goal last season in league 1 and 2. [Post edited 11 Oct 18:21]

It does look like a case of self-destruction. Losing 0-1 after a shot that was going wide was deflected into his own net by Baker. Very little penetration going forward. Josh Thomas isn't getting much service up front, but he doesn't look capable of making his own chances. The most that could be said is that he is a willing runner.

Mooney has to go. This is completely unacceptable. What do they do between international breaks?

Wales u21 determined to not qualify? on 19:38 - Oct 11 with 858 views | AnotherJohn | Wales improved in the second half, but still fell short. The team put in some good crosses, but there was nobody in the middle who looked remotely capable of getting their head to one of the high balls. Couldn't help thinking that we don't seem to produce big centre forwards in the mode of Wyn or Ron Davies, Toshack or Hartson these days (I don't think Moore is in the same category). There was a bit of excitement right at the end when Wales pulled one back before losing 1-2. I thought Cotterill was one of the better players, and Congrieve had a few nice touches when he came on. Josh Thomas didn't have one of his better games and was subbed off midway through the half. [Post edited 11 Oct 19:39]

I do not think Matt Jones is good enough He stated today " I always felt that the group who go to the last game". This is because he did not compete properly v the Danes taking one point from them. He must carry some responsibility for the admin mess up. The evidence sadly is that neither Congreve nor Josh Thomas will cut it l. Both are unable to stay in the Bromley team.
