Sheffield Weds v Swansea City : Match day thread 11:00 - Mar 24 with 13237 viewsModeratorC

It’s Easter there’s bloody bunnies everywhere and hats and eggs. Puking kids and the odd beer no doubt as well. Two games in quick succession, some would say important ones. Here’s the first.

We are ok now. Yates is on.
Joey still warming the bench.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

No passion, no desire, no pride and no hope.

They’ve probably all been on the piss for a fortnight.

Hand ball by Lowe, never!
What a surprise Allen come on the pitch and we start putting challenges in.

If we hang on this will be the best away point of the season

If it had been against us we would’ve been shouting for it.

Looking really ragged towards the end and surviving by the skin of our teeth. Did just enough to equalise against relegation candidates, but probably second best in the second half. No real stars now. Ronald seems stuck in a rut. Lowe is probably the best we have up front.

Happy to get a point away from home if against a poor team.
Pretty shapeless in the end, SFW may think what if they applied more pressure on us from the start.

Why did he play Patino in the end because we ended up playing Fulton as a fullback! It didn't add anything to the team just made us look shapeless, that is not having a go at Patino just don't know why Abdulai isn't on as the replacement for Key or at least to stabilise the defence when Ronald was taken off.
I get that both Key and Ronald are being saved for Monday but with a better shape at the end we could have won that game after the equaliser instead of being all over the place.

It's why I don't share the love for Lukeh
He is in no way showing himself a strategist
Patino looks lost and I doubt his club are happy with how we have handled him

I am conservative and had to work very hard to get cash. When I saw the lads on the razz with the managers blessing after Cardiff games I suggested a trip to the beach for some dune running. Some beasting to regain focus.

It is absolutely no good beating Cardiff with a top level performance and being total dross before and after. It is an insult to the fans. The players knew they could "get away with it"
You get away with nothing when you wear that shirt. 100% every game.

Agree and thats what we have had for the majority of the time the current owners have had us, am hoping the new chairman is a man of his word and we improve but when you buy cheap this is what we get, we need people who know what they are doing in the transfer department and can "FIND" us a few Michus and Rangels for next season
As a poor performance as it was today we have played better and got nothing so a point is a point now lets all hope for another Cardiff performance on monday with a big crowd

It would have been more insulting if they hadn’t turned up against Cardiff also but I get your drift.

We have had one defeat in the last six matches, but we know we can play so much better.
