Was this the end of the Swansea way as we know it ? on 21:08 - Dec 24 by Dr_Winston | There's no such thing as the "Swansea Way". It's a ruse, a figment of an arrogant and deluded fanbases imagination that gives them the opportunity to think that we're somehow special in comparison to other clubs. Like basically every other team out there, we've gone through periods of playing passing football and direct football. Of playing entertaining football and dull football. We're not special or unique in any way. |
Says who? Itβs an opinion. Some might think differently to you Ever thought of that You could be wrong. You really could

While I agree about the no such thing as the Swansea Way I can't agree on the comment "We're not special or unique in any way" Hope you all have a good and happy Christmas

Greetings Dr, I disagree only due to the way qualified ( as I see them ) commentators on the game displayed regularly on MOTD etc the intricate passing and clearly different style to any team at that time. Fulham away when we played in the orange strip a fine example when MOTD eulogised over the way that particular Swans side dismantled them completely. Was one of the goals scored after a high number of passes ? Iβve got some Turkey to eat. Merry Xmas.

Was this the end of the Swansea way as we know it ? on 19:31 - Dec 25 with 604 views | PawelAbbott | We did play passing football under a small number of managers, but the style changed each time the nanager did. We are not Barcelona or Ajax where the managers are brought through the Academies and the club is world renowned. If we want to have an identity then it needs to be driven throughout the club and not something that changes each time the manager changes. It's just fake at the moment and the lack of continuity with ownership ensures its just sales pitch with no substance
