At home we are under pressure to try to dominate the game- which doesn’t suit our style or players. We get nervous, over-commit going forward and leave too much space between midfield and defence. Away from home, we can concentrate on the quick break and falling back into a back 5 as soon as we lose possession. An early goal at home would help a lot.
Can't seem to copy the twitter thing over but Jack Supple points out that after 5 games last season we had one win and 5 points. That was 4 away and 1 home vs 3 home and 2 away. We've two and 6 now. We are in 17th vs 16th after 5 last season.
Boro' had no wins in 5 at the same stage and were just one place better off than now.
We're not a million miles away from being at a point of 1 home win in a year so we better rectify that this month after the break! Annoyingly I'm having to miss the next two games as well.
