I was pessimistic regarding the season before I'd read that, now I'm convinced this is gonna be a bigger car crash than last season.
The one hope I had was that GA would galvanise some sort of us against the world mentality into the squad, but it sounds like they're still the same precious little flowers as the last 8/9 months.

It also doesn't help starting with so many away games. If we start badly (and I expect we will still be signing players right until the deadline), the negativity is only going to snowball. |  | |  |

Just goes to show what these vastly overpaid players think of us.

I went to the pre-season game v Luton at Kenilworth Road - from memory it was the pre-season after we'd just got promoted back to the Prem under Neil Warnock. Had a long chat with Neil himself, Ale Faurlin and Shaun Derry. It was noticeably harder to get Kieron Dyer's attention (ear glued to his phone the whole time - not 100% convinced there was actually anyone on the other end).
Definite divide I would say between those who'd seen the hard times and those who'd maybe been somewhat more mollycoddled. | | | |

Without wanting to get too depressing the massive gulf in wages was something to be a bit jealous of while the going was at least reasonable for most people. When more and more are joining those struggling to get by despite working all hours in a crumbling country run by fools the “them and us” is only going to get more acute and nasty, especially when the team are struggling.

I had a day to think about it and I am still upset the players did not even acknowledge the couple of incredible adventerous fans who found their way there .They should have walked over and joked that even in the middle of nowhere the fans turned up .
Oh and most important those few fans should already have the new shirt (game worn )in their hands from our players . |  | | |
