I have voted for all major parties and some independent ones too.
Normally I vote for anyone who does not pigeon hole me and categorise me.
I worry about anyone calling me workin* classor middle class to my face or worse as ordinary ,as I’m still rather volatile .

I do hope all the strikers being paid strike pay by their Unions will declare the income on their tax returns. Tax evasion is a crime. Wonder if HMRC will be as quick imposing penalties on those who fail to report this income .

Well the fire people walking out . Is that a return to the green goddesses and the army putting out fires with police escorting them .
This led to friction between rank and file police and fire brigades .
Maybe the Police should walk out.
Maybe they should refuse to escort the Army in solidarity with their fellow emergency workers

I can't speak for other professions but there is certainly no strike pay for teachers.
Some district union offices may have set up hardship funds for those who are disproportionally effected )compared to other members.)
