Sausage rolls, pastries etc just aren’t a thing in the part of spain we live in. Not a chippy within 80kms either. Closest you can get is a flaky cheese and ham type thing, just not the same. As my daughter said “Tastes bloody foreign dad”. 😂
Going to Gibraltar tomorrow for NYE, Fish and chips may well be on the menu. A few pints in a pub, these are the things I miss. No pubs anywhere here, it’s all small bars (ventas) etc. |  |

Hunts was at the top of Queen St, just before the Halifax, think its a coffee shop these days and yes it was a cracking bakery. | |

Eynons was a place my mum went to buy us pies as a treat before the Vetch.
Hated them from an early age.
