I am sure you can explain it to everybody's satisfaction, not that many of them would know what a random walk is anyway and I was never much good at regression analysis.
It is not a Clinical study, but an observational one with multiple limitations openly admitted to in the study.
The most telling of which the fact that they admit that the Ct tests used do not account for virus viability, which they did not test for.
The control group were predominantly those presenting with COVID19 symptoms, although they did use a smaller subgroup that were referrals but they had symptoms as well, it appears they did not test the asymptomatic ones.

The main stochastic part is that the infectious dose and susceptibility are hugely variable.

The simplest explanation is throwing eggs. You get egg disease by having five eggs hit and break - that’s the estimated infectious dose. But one egg may be enough or it may take 100, but statically analysis is an average of five. Sometimes the egg does not break either.

But for simplicity let’s say ID is 5. Transmission route is someone throwing eggs at you. From a distance, say 22 yards of a cricket wicket, the probability of being hit with each egg and it breaking is 0.1 or 10%. If 10 eggs are thrown you may get infected or hit five times but at a low frequency. If a 100 eggs are thrown it starts to become more likely and with a 1,000 eggs highly likely.

A higher viral load is likely to increase the hit rate significantly. Of course we can mitigate. Social distancing - throwing the length of a football pitch reduces likelihood as would a barrier like a net (or mask). Treatment is a bit like a small wet wipe. Helps but can’t get rid of all that eggy mess.

Of course the viability is an issue, but generally an immune response decreases viability of pathogens , so if anything the effective may be greater.

And your point about medical research is?

That’s corporate malpractice- similar to what used to happen in the U.K with pharmaceutical industry ‘bribes’ until better regulation. Or do you think this relates to Wellcome Trust (it does not-charitable trust based on the Wellcome legacy)

I dont think there would be too may dissenters among the Wellcome trust ranks being as GSK own Wellcome . Bill and Melinda Gates fund research on a massive scale again the people employed in that research are hardly likely to go against the covid narrative . The major shareholders in the news networks are also major shareholders in the pharmaceutical industries the reporting is obviously one sided .

How does that apply to this situation anywhere other than the US?

As do the NIH in the US, practically all of them are declared shareholders in Big Pharma, especially Gilead.
Which is an obvious conflict of interest.

Because it is being proved more and more that there are conspiracies that have and are taking place.
Why don't you want to know about them?
Although there is no conspiracy aroung the "Great Reset" and the "UN Agendas", they are telling us to our faces what they intend for us in the future.

But how about organisations like TASS and Xinhua? Heck even the BBC.

Are they all run by shareholders in big pharma?

And wrong. Wellcome Trust has no relationship to pharma. It sold any remaining interests in the 90s. A charitable trust independent of government and industry. As I suggested you have misinterpreted Burroughs Wellcome and the trust being the same.

So, the Welcome trust doesn't have any investments in Big Pharma then?

No. It divested from the area to avoid conflicts of interest. No idea about US, but all U.K. funding bodies require a declaration of interests. Even a small conflict of interest removes you from the decision process on any application.

And again-What relevance are they to Wellcome Trust? That's all Gates Foundation

And the first source is a laughable billionaire funded anti-vax site, so hardly a reliable or independent verification.

Gates foundation is smaller and narrower funder than Wellcome, it funds what Bill or Melinda want and is not really a funder of fundamental bio or biomedical science. How it generates its income is up to it, but does not claim the independence of Wellcome Trust.

Vir Biotechnology
The Gates Foundation was one of the lead investors in Vir Biotechnology (NASDAQ:VIR) at the biotech's launch in late 2016 and early 2017. The foundation's goal with its position in Vir was to "support the development of affordable and accessible HIV and TB prophylactic vaccine programs, and support the development of a new partner in the infectious disease space."

Vir's pipeline now includes several coronavirus-focused programs. The company recently began a phase 2/3 clinical study with its partner, GlaxoSmithKline, evaluating an antibody therapy targeting COVID-19. Vir expects to initiate a phase 2 study of another COVID-19 antibody therapy, VIR-7832, later this year. VIR-7832 could potentially be used to treat COVID-19 and as a vaccine to prevent infection. In addition, the biotech is conducting preclinical studies of an inhaled therapy targeting COVID-19.

GSK own Wellcome

From Wikipedia .It has been reported that the Wellcome Trust has billions of investments on companies which contribute to the problems the philanthropy wants to solve.[35] Also in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been revealed that the trust has investments with pharmaceutical companies, which means it should gain financially from the pandemic.[36]

The Wellcome Trust is not Burroughs-Wellcome. They are not owned by anyone-they are a trust.

https://wellcome.org/who-we-are/investments

Their remaining shares in Burroughs Wellcome were sold to Glaxo (now GSK) in 1995 who own the Burroughs Wellcome business. Whilst their investments may include healthcare, I believe they have a pretty large portfolio of diverse interests. I believe their largest shareholdings are in the likes of Apple and Amazon.

They provide more funding than the MRC part of UKRI, funding in people lomb-term rather than specific projects.

They certainly do-and 'bribery' of senior medics was commonplace in the UK-less so now, but trips to conferences and 'generous' consultancy are still common. For big vet practices too.

What they don't have is much influence on the UK vaccination programme.

You obviously did not bother to read where they invest did you?
Because if you had you will see that they have investments in Roche, J & J, Abbott Labs and Novartis.
As well as all the big players that have been suppressing data on medicines and anything adverse on Vaccines.

Foot shot yourself.

I said there is healthcare investment in that post. Stop lying you toad. And you and your cronies thought it was part of GSK. They divested ownership in the 90s. Like most funds they have a mixed portfolio and very good at it too. What you lot are insinuating is that pharma controls funding. It has an input, but certainly not the main decision maker by a long stretch. Since I doubt you have sat on funding panels I suggest keeping your snout out.
