Southampton - You're fat and your birds a slag; I still laugh when I think about it

Statto - when the steward in Lower Loft got outed as a Statto double; he became quite happy with the popularity if I remember correctly

lower loft, probably late 90s, sat in the sunshine and one of our own, totally pissed and absolutely massive, is berating everyone for not singing, not standing up, not real fans..... as he turns away I shout out 'sit down you fat cant'; he goes mental trying to work out who said it with me straight faced watching the match.... think it took about 6 stewards to drag him out

I was at a game at Highfield Road and a bloke near us giving Oggy the "you're so ugly" for ages, long enough for one of the home fans to get irritated and shout back "If you want to talk about ugly mate, you should take a look at yourself". 1990-91 season.

Best Oggy moment. "You've put your shirt on upside down and your arse is sticking out of the neck hole."
Alan Smith moment at December home game, "Oi, are you the fücker that nicked the carrot off my kids snowman?"

The grass is always greener.

Surprised no officials abuse so I'll add one.

Quiet moment in T Block when someone shouts " Oi Lino! - Just because you're dressed in green, don't think I can't see you!"

Left Newbury early one Saturday morning with a car full and headed for Middlesbrough.
Journey full of traffic jams/hold ups/diversions etcetera finally parking the car at 2.50pm and running into the ground to just make kick off.
1-0 to them---2-0 to them---3-0 to them, somewhere about the 80th minute a QPR fan sat behind us walked down the stairs and a few minutes later walked back up unwrapping a hot Pukka Pie---4-0 to them at which point a Middlesbrough fan turned to us arms in the air giving it the large one in our direction and received the Pukka Pie full on right in the middle of his face where the said Pukka Pie exploded causing us travelling fans to give the loudest and only cheer of the afternoon.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

A few that immediately spring to mind...

- Dai Hoop absolutely off his chops, Chelsea at home, invading the camera gantry at the Loft End to abuse John Terry. Texts and phone calls flying among the LFWers all over the ground to the effect of "is that...... DAI HOOP ON THE CAMERA GANTRY?". Stayed there for ages, conducting the crowd, giving Terry the big un, while a crowd of stewards tried to persuade him to come back. Eventually carried out horizontal to rapturous applause, giving it the royal wave.

- Dai Hoop, Swansea away. Had travelled over from Cardiff on the top deck of the local stopping bus with a bottle of spirits. Absolutely wasted by the time the game started, got in a dispute with a steward, got thrown out, snuck back in through a late turnstile, returned to his seat, started smoking, got thrown out again. Attempted to climb back into the ground over the enormous gate in the corner where they bring the tractor in, scaled it, fell off it, snapped his ankle, got thrown out again. Sat on the grass bank outside the away end waiting for full time, some QPR fans leave early because we're losing, he asks them what the score is, they think he's taking the piss because he's got a Welsh accent, and smash him up. We came out at the end he had a broken ankle, his nose was spread across his face, there was blood everywhere. Quite the day.

- Sheff Wed A, height of the Thompson out campaign, week after Denise had streaked onto the pitch but left the bra on, Grandad Tom in the pub telling her how proud everybody was of her but also "slightly disappointed".

- The bloke getting the hump at Southampton, mrs getting up and lifting her skirt at the away end.

- Hartlepool deckchair.

- After a few 'incidents' at recent games Polish Paul deciding that the drinking really was getting out of hand and becoming a bit of a liability, so coming up with an ingenius plan for Man City away that for every pint he had he'd also have a bread roll. Turned up at Euston in the morning with two shopping bags full of brown bread rolls. 23 brown bread rolls later and the flaw in the plan was revealed...

- Paul Ince is a wnkr. Repeat.

great stuff!

Joe Young once approached Darren Peacock and asked for an autograph. we used to call peacock 'slipper' cos he used to slip over at inopportune moments.

'Can I have your autograph?'
-'Yeah'
'Can you sign it 'to all the lads on the Loft from slipper?'
-'Are you taking the piss?'
'Course I am'
And walks away, leaving a very bemused looking Darren Peacock.

First game with the new executive boxes above the Paddock, as a protest I brought along suction pad hooks, stuck them on the glass fronts and we hung our coats off them. The people inside were not happy!

A group of fans standing around Danny Dichio getting autographs and Dave (AKTUR'S) Thomas and a few of us were stood nearby. Dave shouts out "Oi, Danny, when you've got a minute" DD looks over and nods, saying he'll be over. Less than a minute later Dave shouts it out again, DD looks up and says something like he will there in a minute. Within a couple of minutes Dave has shouted over to him a few more times and he eventually marches over looking none to happy. "Yes, what is it?" Dave replies "You couldn't get us Les Ferdinands autograph could you?" DD: "Fück off you pr!ck" and storms off.

The grass is always greener.

Oh shit I forgot about that , it was half time in the midweek Arsenal game, they brought a wooden wall on with holes in and bet Fred said they’d double the amount of money that was painted next to the hole, just before we started the PA informed us that it was being broadcast all over Asia to several million people, not only did I not get a ball through the hole I missed the board completely!

The away game at Villa a few years back when Freeman got the winner and Terry was typically making a c–t of himself, getting loads of extended grief as Villa bottled it once again, and a loud song went up “he’s gonna cry in a minute”.

I wasn’t even there, but that really made me laugh. A big missed away day that.

Plymouth away.

Up 't top of the bit they put us in some gents were standing up but not causing any grief when the stewards and a copper came over and told them to sit down.
They duly did and after about 3 mins of quiet one said to the copper "Is it alright if I have a Polo?"

I properly started laughing.

Fulham away first time we played them for ages when they gave us a stupidly small allocation , we was being walked back to Hammersmith along the main road and thus rangers fan on his bike appears bag of cans on his handle bars weaving along the road . As carried on waking and thus bike carried in weaving and weaved in front of the police van loaded with coppers just as he stuck his blue lights on as it was going off towards the Broadway, van driver stuck his brakes on hard as he could to avoid cyclist and half the coppers in the back did a 180 off there seats as it suddenly stopped bodies every where those walking back saw the events and pi55ed themselves

Can't remember who we played but we were struggling and Tony Currie came over to get the ball for a throw in and someone shouted " come on Tony sort it out" and he shouted back " you want to try playing with this lot"!

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

Newcastle away 2015 was my "QPR stag". Having made it to our seats despite me wearing a luminous green t shirt with a picture of Bono on that says "BONO IS A LEDGE WHO LOVES THE MACKEMS", some guy in shorts and flip flops (it was January) is adamant that his seat is in the middle of the 6 of us. He spends the whole first half taking selfies of himself.

Then as halftime begins, a smell emerges that I can only describe as what I imagine hell smells like. He pushes us all out of the way and runs down the stairs, holding his arse shouting "I'M GONNA SH!T MESELF". We didn't see him again.

Later that night we asked a guy for a photo. He pulls out a huge wad of cash, takes a selfie and hands us the phone back

The FA cup tie away at Blackpool. Police escort along the front. Gobby bloke in his car shouting abuse at us. Car in front of him stopped, he didn't.

same game we took the Euston special - very early start, no breakfast, no food on train, straight onto buses into the ground no food. back on train no food. Train stops, at Crewe I think, where its announced there will be a two minute wait whilst the engine is changed. Cue dozens of us diving into the platform shop and grabbing anything edible - supermarket sweep at its pinnacle.

Fat slag at Southampton.

In the Ellerslie next to the away end - R's guy in sheepskin and hat being given loads of del boy give us a wave, followed by del boy, shall we sing a song for you? He stands up and bellows "do Uptown girl then fuc£ off", to much applause from the faithful.

Sat behind a particularly gobby Liverpudlian in the lower school end during our game with the Scousers in 2014.
He was with the Rangers fans but didnt let that stop him repeatedly mouthing off about how poor we were and that the greatness of Liverpool and it's fans knew no bounds.
Annoying to say the least, to the point that after 10 minutes or so several of us "advised" him to button it.
He wasn't happy - but managed to restrict his support to low key celebrations when the Scousers scored there first two goals.
The comedy moment arrived on 90+ minutes when Vargas scored in front of the Loft to make it 2.2. The lower school end erupted, leaving the solitary Scouser in his seat.
Our celebrations got better when a Liverpool fan above in the upper school end threw a full pint of lager onto the Rangers fans below - but hitting the solitary Scouser full on the back of his head. Bullseye "De greatest fans in de world" had just soaked one of there own.
By the time Steven Caulker had put through his own goal to gift Liverpool a very late 2.3 victory our mate had made an exit.
Apparently it wasn't lager in the plastic pint pot - but a more personal gift from those above.

Funniest moment following QPR on 11:06 - Feb 8 by BrianMcCarthy

Me and my friend Dave used to hang around the players' exit after games. Dave had a superb Northern wit and drawl. In '92, Man City were in town, they had a good team by and large though they struggled up front where Adrian Heath had scored the princely sum of one goal in eighteen months. We were unstoppable that day and hammered them 4-0.

Outside afterwards, most of them were on the coach but Heath was signing autographs. Dave joined the throng and thrust a piece of paper in front of Heath who without looking was going through them one by one.

"Could you sign that please, Adrian"
"Ya, one minute"
"Hard luck today"
"Thanks"
"You were unlucky"
Thanks"
"You hit the bar"
"Ya"
Shame that"
"Ya"
"That would've been two goals in eighteen months"

And Heath goes for him. And Keith Curle goes for the two of us. And we can't fight cos we're laughing so hard. And their coach empties. And now it's the whole team coming for us. And we're laughing like we're Goodfellas. Eventually, Niall Quinn (who I kind of know) gets them all back on the coach and gives me a stern "you should know better, Brian" lecture and I tell him how it started and he cracks up laughing as well.
