Please do not leave a single seat unoccupied 12:44 - Jul 23 with 10489 views | CroydonCaptJack | Just trying to buy a ticket for the first home game. There are two seats free next to mine. If I try and select the one nearest me I get this message. It won't let me purchase one as it will leave one on its own I suppose but that is new isn't it? Anyone else had this problem?

To coin a phrase 'fookin wánkers'.

Fair play to Rangers ticket office, sent them a stinking email about ticketmaster yet they phoned back within 5 minutes and altered the tickets to what we wanted. Positive signings, passing and moving, ticket office on form. What the hell is going on?

I have an irrational hatred of those arsewipes. How can you set yourself up as a business that does one thing - sale and distribution of tickets - and be entirely useless at that one thing? Though I suppose, in that respect, QPR and Ticketmaster are perfect partners. |
I used to work in Ticketmaster's call centre when I was at uni. Only job I've ever been fired from. I'm pretty proud about that...

Please do not leave a single seat unoccupied on 21:00 - Jul 30 with 3215 views | Benny_the_Ball | Nothing new, I've encountered that before when purchasing online. It happens when the potential sale will result in a single empty seat remaining. And to think that these clowns charge a booking fee for the pleasure. I get that single seats are more difficult to sell but given our precarious financial position I see no sense in turning down any sale so close to matchday. It's a loss of revenue from tickets as well as potentially food, drinks, programme, merchandise and return business. To be fair to the ticket office they've always accommodated me in such circumstances so that's my recommended route. In the meantime the club should consider asking Ticketmaster to implement a timer so that this restriction is lifted in the week leading up to the match (in the same way that remaining tickets that were initially available only to season ticket holders and members are eventually offered on general sale).
