I wasn't gonna share this but i'm an attention seeking harlot so will.I do know 1 or 2 people who know people blah blah blah at the club and news is Leon is considering joing Warnock at Cardiff. He's wanted there and wants to go to gain valuable experience, I'm told, but is concerned about his loyalty to Swansea and his welcome at Cardiff.

I don't care if you don't believe it or want to believe it but it's what I've been told.

Has Warnock ever fielded a player under the height of 6 foot 6?

Some of our most loved players have crossed the divide, so why not Leon?

Leon would not play anything like Colin W anker if he ever managed so don’t see what he’d gain .......so I could never see it happening.

Would go from hero to zero if he joined the filthy scummy bastards up the road

In a player coach role I assume?

That would be sickening if true.

I assume it would be in a coaching role.

Why don’t the hedge founders offer him a role ffs, you need to keep a solid foundation.
I can’t see it though, we have bellers working wonders with our youth teams who is more likely to come through. In saying that he loves bringing the kids through apparently but whether it’s time to move in who knows.

He’s stuck in an 80’s type mentality I’m afraid. Possibly being the only jack in the metropolis of pencoed hasn’t helped him.....

Warnock has his own coaching staff - Blackwell, Jepson and the other one I can never remember. An assistant coach is James Rowberry, one of the youngest to get coaching qualifications - was an outsider to get job when Trollope fired.

Bellamy is doing the u18 gig, wouldn't be surprised to see him be manager when Warnock goes.

So... I don't see this happening. Not because of the "uuuugggg don't want a Jack" bs argument but because there's no real need for us to want him at this point in time.

It’s not the end of the world if it happens (not that I think it will). He has been one of our best players in the PL era (and before) but he’s going to offer us next to nothing on the pitch next season.

No matter how much of a legend someone is, they should only be kept on as a coach if they are a good coach. No idea if he is or isn’t, he certainly commands respect and was trusted in that brief caretaker role, but if there is no future for him here and there is at Cardiff, he has earned the right to go even there with our best wishes.

Surely the debate should be about Cardiff going up and Swansea coming down? Both still unlikely I’d say. I think you are safe but if saints beat Bournemouth then maybe it will inspire a pretty talented team.

In fairness, there are several threads on whether we will stay up and a few on whether you will get promoted. Both will happen in my view.

This is a thread about a Swansea stalwart potentially moving to Cardiff. He won’t in my view.
