9 MINS. That's all it took between posting on one thread that 'The Res' has been vindicated, and then posting this. Which is totally against what 'The Res' view is! You are one fvcked up individual fair play!
Genuine question - from a Trust Member on 21:46 - Nov 6 with 3980 views | Uxbridge | As promised, an update after tonight's Trust board meeting. There will be a statement later this week (towards the back end) from the Trust board regarding everything that is going on regarding the running of the football club and the current discussions between the Trust reps and the Americans. I'm not going to preempt that by saying any more in terms of this evening's discussions, sorry.

Genuine question - from a Trust Member on 18:59 - Nov 6 by londonlisa2001 | He looks just like someone and it's annoying me that I can't think who, I'd agree with your point regarding Ux by the way. He's in an invidious position. |
Invidious position? Not really. Either you do something positive individually to help that group or if you can't you walk away from what is a shambles. He spent weeks trying to point everyone in a specific direction which was away from the advice provided by a barrister in relation to the most controversial happenings at Swansea City for 15 years. Why? And why is it an invidious position?

I meant in terms of coming on here to attempt to communicate (the only one that does really, apart from matt g) and have people complain about people not communicating. It's fairly obvious he wishes others would come on here as well. I didn't mean in a more general sense. I made my feeling clear on the vote at the time and since.

Not invidious then. He's offered his opinions on things but inferred and implied they were official Trust standpoints which we now find they weren't. I don't believe any of them should be giving their own opinions on a forum such as this. What can it achieve?

Maybe, and this is just an idea, the Trust should have an official account here so they can reply officially and Trust members (like Matt G and Ux) can continue to post as themselves. I think it's refreshing and encouraging that they post on here (and under their own names, unlike some from inside the club). I was thinking last night, after reading someone's post, that Ux could be a good person to be an official spokesperson for the Trust. He's got the writing skills and the intelligence to articulate what he's trying to say, but it's a question of whether the Trust want someone in that position and whether he's interested in it. I think one of the biggest problems, if not THE biggest, is that anyone who puts their heads above the parapet is usually shot down in flames, even if they're just the messenger. It doesn't matter how good-intentioned or honest that person is, there will always be some who can't stop themselves from personal attacks. Saying that, the role I'm talking about doesn't just involve fans' forums like this but all the press, local and national. I think it's quite an interesting role and, considering that he would be starting from zero, could be quite a rewarding role too as things couldn't be much worse.

They already do. Under the username Swans Trust. They came on here the other week stating who won the annual Trust raffle. This after weeks/months of people demanding answers to questions they put to them. The lack of awareness from these people is startling at times. [Post edited 7 Nov 2017 7:37]

Genuine question - from a Trust Member on 18:40 - Nov 9 with 3335 views | marchamjack | Evening Ux. Thursday now, is there any update to report please? The Trust meeting was Monday. I know it's not just down to you, but this ongoing lack of comms is not covering the Trust in any glory I'm sorry to say. I suspect in fairness you probably think the same. The Trust are making it very difficult for the long term rank and file members like me to keep the faith. The on going silence is not just deafening, it's self defeating. Whatever this week's statement comes out with, long term, the lack of comms can't continue like it is. It's not a sustainable position to take. Hate saying all this, but I know for a fact there are other members who think the same. And its not as if theres that many of us left now!

Landore asked this question last night and i replied that the minutes from the last trust meeting on 2nd October weren't posted on the trust website until last Sunday (5th Nov). The thread was deleted.
Genuine question - from a Trust Member on 19:20 - Nov 9 with 3289 views | E20Jack | I think if someone doesn't have a spare 30 mins to draft and upload a review of the situation then they shouldn't really be in that position. We need people that are on the ball with the time to dedicate to it. If someone doesn't have a spare half an hour then that is starkly concerning. I have on many occasions put myself forward to take control of all PR on their behalf. However fast updated and accurate information seems to be something that the organisation wants to avoid at all costs.

Can't remember what Landore named the thread but i think it was 'Trust update' or something like that. he asked if there was any news from the meeting, i replied saying what i said in my previous post and it's disappeared. I checked Threads that Landore has started and it's gone from there as well.

To be fair, Ux says on this thread (on this page of the thread in fact) that an update will be issued at the back end of this week, which I would imagine will be tomorrow.
