I have just enquired from Herman, my 6'9" South African born but partially raised in Darwin colleague, as to wtf that expression means. His understanding is that it's a way of referring to England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales, originally as the old dirt, the accents just fcked the pronounciation. [Post edited 26 Sep 2017 19:52]
