Nicer Chadli ... on 22:30 - Aug 30 by WarwickHunt | Dineen has just ordered 4 dozen shirts with Renaldo Sanchez on the back. Ker-fûcking-CHING! |
He's also just ordered 4 dozen giant pizzas with extra cheese.

Nicer Chadli ... on 22:14 - Aug 30 by dailew | Yup. I think those (justified) fears that the Americans would simply asset-strip us can be safely put to bed now. |
Pleased we look like making a few signings, but even if we sign Chadli and pay loan fee for Sanches we'll still have a decent profit from player sales, huge (justified) cut in player wages and a big rise in income from Sky/PL. Most PL clubs are investing extra Sky money into squads. We're likely to be only PL club with profit on player transfers this window. Yanks plan is still to drive big profits this year for exit next year. The quality loan signings are to secure PL status for another year to add exit premium, but they are loans with no buy out options, so not our assets. It still surprises me the Trust as large shareholders doesn't have access to a budget and 12 month plan that'll cover what strategy is, target profit and asset / squad investment. Basic corporate governance to have a budget and share with major shareholders. If Trust don't see any budget it's negligence. Maybe Trust have budget and opt not to share plans with fans / trust members.

Nicer Chadli ... on 22:25 - Aug 30 by max936 | Some on here have short memory's either that they are newbies and can't remember the joy of him coming here in the first place, yes he's lost parts of his game [player gets older shocker], but he still offers plenty especially as a squad player. If he does go he'll get a massive Thanks from me for his contributions over the years and my best wishes. |
It tickles me the way some of our fans talk about routledge as if he used to be a Ryan giggs. He's never contributed in the way a good winger really should and to say he still offers a lot as a squad player is ludicrous. Have you watched him play for the last 2 seasons?

He was decent squad player than suited our passing style. As our formation changed he's been poor, as pace (he's too slow to be PL wing now) and control. He was never a Giggs, h and goals assists low but he did help us through our early years. He's clearly lost pace and performances last season and early matches suggest he's not good enough for PL anymore. Why we give him and Dyer long extended contacts is generous but bizzare.

Nicer Chadli ... on 10:39 - Aug 31 with 2306 views | max936 | Everton would be interested in letting Kevin Mirallas go on a permanent, would he be a better option than Chadli I wonder, depends on how much they'd want for him I suppose.

So it looks like it's only the 2 coming in then as suggested by Clement Sanchez and A.N.O, plenty of strength in Midfield now but maybe not at the back if we suffer injuries or suspensions.
