They gave the game a good plug tonight on Absolute radio. They talked about it with Serge from Kasabian who mentioned that the fundraising won't stop at this game and they were planning other ideas to raise as much as they can for the former residents and their families. I didn't realise until after the Hull game that you can see Grenfell tower as you exit the Loft.

The reason I'm a QPR fan is when living next door to Grenfell in the early 70s when it was a building site, I could see lights on at night. I discovered the lights were from a night game being played.
I'll be going. Taking my nephew who's really excited and knows more of the famous people than me, while for me seeing Sinclair and a few of the ex QPR players appeals a little. It's a nice thing for me to do with my nephew while supporting something that means a huge amount to me...grew up a few streets away from that estate and had friends who lived there. Great work from the club.
when it was announced, saw a QPR fan on facebook saying that it was typical Les "looking after his own" because he grew up on the estate. classic online tw@ts.
Good article in the Fail today about Peter Crouch's involvement and his time at QPR. Talks about how he was getting abuse from our own fans after 6 appearences. Somethings never change...

No pal, I didn't mean that. It's just like having guests round to your beloved home: you want them to like it, right? And our home is very dear to us because it's home, but when you try to imagine how it looks to outsiders, you have to admit it's a bit of a dump.
No I don't.
EDIT: Just seen other responses and fair enough, but I fckin love our ground and would take the crumbling, boxed in lack of legroom over a Reading flat pack any day.
Have just bought my ticket for tomorrow and was pleased to see that the ground is almost sold out. Well done QPR. You can stick your PL up your @rse along with £100million + players, this is what football is all about. Makes me bloody proud to be a QPR supporter.

So proud of what our club represents at the moment - a massive well done to Fernandes, Les and so many others behind this game. "Community" is a lovely word, but they are walking the walk. Seeing people like Mo and er...Jose on the pitch will be a laugh, and it will be great to see our (hopefully) packed stadium on the news later. Imagining just for a moment how those people died still gives me shivers.

I'm so focking proud of our club , I've had fans of other clubs saying what a great thing we are doing makes a change from all the negative shite we have gone through all these years! Sir Les and co take a bow!!
AND WHEN I DREAM , I DREAM ABOUT YOU AND WHEN I SCREAM I SCREAM ABOUT YOU!!!!!
Have just got back from holiday so haven't got a ticket in advance. Does anyone know if there's still plenty for sale on the day and which turnstiles are going to be open?

Just bought my nephew and his kids tickets online and they have to pick them up from the box office before the game. Looks like upper loft there is a few left and the upper school end. Whole ground is open so all turnstiles will be open. Just one gripe is a focking £3.50 booking fee for a charity match , bunch of crooks ticket master are!
