Some Sky journo saying decision was only made at half time yesterday

Don't believe this at all, but that first half may have just reassured them they were making the right decision

Sky just love QPR. We're the gift that keeps on giving. The feeling is not mutual.

Jimmy Jimmy wouldn't let go!

Never the right man, even Burton didn't want to keep him.

He had plenty of chances but.......

Couldn't play players in their correct position
Didn't see the need for a right back or 2
Can't be pro-active rather than reactive
Doesn't play anything like the football he professed to want to
Used substitutions completely wrongly if at all
Was completely out of his depth at 4 levels below the 4 main leagues
Got a job through apparently being a mate of someone at the club
And was shyte!

To be honest, after the last 2 dullards, I'd be happy with anyone that got us playing football in an exciting way, with a pattern, speed, aggressiveness and passion even if we didn't win, but at least damn well tried.

Jimmy, you were a disgrace, like your predecessor.
Good riddance

Poor little Jimmy wouldn't let go.

Well if he didn't get it by being a mate, it says a lot about Les's ability to choose / recommend a Ramsey replacement doesn't it?

After all, why on earth would someone want to employ someone his soon to be previous employer wasn't fussed about keeping?

"The last 2 dullards."

Unlike the thrill-packed excitement of the 2 before them then.

At the time he was a very good candidate. Had got Burton promoted and they were two points clear in League One at the time we appointed him.

And you know how exactly that Burton weren't fussed in keeping him? You don't, it's just another supposition to go along with your "he got the job because he was Les's mate" assumption.

Y'know, I've spent my adult life prattling on to my kids and mates about never quitting a job until you've got another one to go too. In the same vein, I find it difficult to comprehend the firing of anyone in a managerial position without someone being lined up or at least having made an effort to hire their replacement.

Have a horrible feeling fat Sam has been sounded out. Can't believe tone would let les shoehorn in another of his mates.

They are not facts....thats your opinion.

LF has not been a disaster IMO, he has overseen the player purchases of some very good, young talent who we will make a profit on.

Jimmy, on paper, was exactly what a lot of people were crying out for. It hasn't worked, we move on. I think you believe LF has more power then he does, lots of people make these decisions and its certainly not down to just Les.

I personally think expectations are still too high. We should be a Top 10 Champ club for the next couple of years, balance the books, play entertaining football, bring through some youngsters and put some foundations in place. I'd say a lot of that is slowly happening.

Well if you are living in a parallel universe or just cuckoo land with no concept of reality... I guess he is doing just fine.

Sounds like crap alright, if for no other reason than that JFH seems not to have tries to play entertaining football from the off.

If we get somebody in the next few days there will be many on here criticising the board for discussing the job with others while JFH was still the manager.

If it's true then at least the owners know the quality of football matters, this shouLd then rule out fat Sam (as well as the fat salary he would demand)

Don't think les will be given much say on new appointment. Tony and Rubén will be wondering about his judgement now so doubt if we'll be seeing sherwood either.

I wonder what all this talk is about entertaining football. If we were top of the league having won all our games 1 0 playing ultra defensive football then very few on here would be moaning and JFH would still be in a job. In reality most football fans will accepti boring football if the team is getting results or some kind of entertainment if not, unfortunately for JFH we had boring football with the team not getting results.

Don't think that's true. Remember Paul hart getting booed after we won a game for being ultra negative.
Most rangers fans, of a certain age anyway, expect to be entertained when we go.
It's one of the reasons we, more than any other club, always welcomed Maverick players, and made heroes of them.

We don't need anyone unwilling to work under a DoF - FACT.

LF has done a good job, part of the criticism of JFH was that the squad is actually pretty good and he wasn't getting the most out of them. Well guess who built that squad slowly since getting here and ousting the last set of managers who didn't want a DoF between them and the cash, namely Harry Redknapp and Kia.. sorry Mark Hughes.

That wasn't meant as a criticism of LF.

Those waiting for NW to return are waiting in vain, was my point.

No , that's spot on ! Promotion season under redknap was thoroughly depressing football but we ground out results to squeeze into the play offs.

Short term, people will put up with it if we are winning games but when your not then you leave yourself open as old bonus games arry found out and fcuked off before he was pushed (allegedly)

As opposed to trotting out the usual hyperbole about consolidation and backing a manager only to sack him a few weeks later? That's a worse advert.

In any event, there was enough smoke to get rid and no prospective manager would have questioned it. Despite the madness, Monk still took the Leeds job.

There are always a list of candidates a mile long for ANY job at this level.

1) It will be decent money

2) They all believe they are THE one to turn the "great club" around. Have you noticed they are "great" clubs after appointing said person!
