Half decent tv 06:36 - Apr 29 with 706027 views | LadbrokeR | I watched the last episode of line of duty and thought that was good. Undercover has finally grabbed by attention. I quite like some of the investigative programmes Stacey Dooley does. However I can't wait for the next series of people just do nothing.
Half decent tv on 23:09 - Dec 15 with 1737 views | Lblock | Dunno if it’s been mentioned on here but just finished an 8 parter called Under The Bridge Adaptation of a book of a true story from late 90’s in Canada Some interesting diversions off from main story and quite shocking all this could go on in fairly sleepy towns. Also made me realise the whole world has had feral kids and nutters in it for decades

Yes. It's brilliant and can see Fiennes getting the Oscar.

I haven’t but Mrs Sheen loved it. On other matters ecclesiastical, Wolf Hall had a happy ending with that thieving Putney heretic getting it in the neck. Fantastic writing and performances.

Surely, the unwritten rule of this thread is that you don’t mention the ending?

Perhaps, but he’s a historical not fictional character. Not much point having a spoiler alert on Julius Caesar. [Post edited 17 Dec 8:36]

Agree with you, I thought it was brilliantly scripted and acted. The scenes in the last episode where Cromwell runs rings around his accusers in the kangaroo court while knowing all the time that no matter how right he may be he’s doomed anyway, were absolutely riveting.
Half decent tv on 12:06 - Dec 17 with 1010 views | Orthodox_Hoop | Landman on Paramount + is superb. Another Taylor Sheridan project (Yellowstone, Special Ops: Lioness, Tulsa King) and it's been fantastic so far. Worth watching just for Billy Bob Thornton chewing up scenes as he continuously puts out fires in his day job running an oil company for a billionaire played by Jon Hamm. Superb cast - Ali Larter looks great as Billy's ex-wife - and the hook in the first episode is one of the best I've ever seen. Hopefully it continues to be this good throughout.

Half decent tv on 15:48 - Dec 17 with 844 views | W4Hoop | I can't think of a better actor currently working than Mark Rylance. He hardly needs to say anything - his face and eyes are so expressive. Thomas Cromwell was cruel and vengeful yet as portrayed by Rylance I felt sorry for him.
