The end is nigh for NTFC.

The chairman borrows £12 Million to redevelop the ground then the money goes missing.

I have been asked to share the following link https://crowdfunding.justgiving.com/ntfctrust if anyone wishes to help stave off liquidation.

League 2 and trying to buy promotion.

Any other similar size clubs who think thats a good idea take note!!!

Can't imagine many will have sympathy with the cobblers.

100% no sympathy for any club who do this a second time.

Looking at their message board suggests a more complex situation than that. An apparently dodgy chairman has been using the club as leverage with the council to try to secure development rights for the area around Sixfields. There may also be a suggestion of poor governance from elected officials.

Repayments on a substantial loan from the council are overdue along with an HMRC bill and any ground development has long been in abeyance. As ever it is the fans who are left trying to salvage their club.

As a Dale supporter I am very grateful for the honest and astute leadership that has ensured RAFCs survival (and recent relative prosperity) seemingly against all odds.
